- The facilities are not very good in this university but it's sufficient in our courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good, if you see in terms of difficulty. You have to manage your assignments too with exams. The last month of the semester always stay hectic there, due to the workload and regular exams. But it prepares us for real world problems, because you've to face problems daily while doing a job. The CT 2 held just before the External Examination and there is not any gap between them. The marks distribution for internal examination is like this: DHA CA. CT1. CT2 AA ATT. 40. 40. 40. 40. 20. 10. Only 2 among 3 are chosen between CA, CT1 & CT2. The total marks of internal examination is 150 while the total marks of external examination is 50. So the weightage is 75:25.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees of B.Tech Course is 12700 Rs. In the first semester, you need to pay 6850 Rs. After this, you have to pay 6350 Rs. for every semester. The scholarship program benefits are available in this university, you can take benefits of U.P. Scholarship program easily without any hassle. Other UG courses have lesser fees than B. Tech..
Campus Life
Campus Life can be defined in both words interesting and boring. You've to go for the social services in first year and NSS campaign too, but this is the time where you can start and enjoy with your new mates because this is the beginning of a new experience. The technologies provided in the classroom is quite good and the range of books availability in the library is quite good. The Intra-faculty sports competition is organised every year. Events are held on regular basis like interactive session with some well-known personalities etc.
Admission
My only preference was Dayalbagh Educational Institute. I didn't want to go to any other University. It is the nearest to my home and the fees structure of this college is affordable for me. No, I didn't get any kind of rejection from any college. I've applied for other colleges too and got my seat there but my priority was this Institute. You just need to have good percentage in 12th because the weightage of 12th marks is 60% in the merit list and you've to give the JEE Mains exam and score above 50%ile to become eligible for this course.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio can't be predicted. The faculty members are really experienced and for this course, the members are mostly from NITs and IITs and have a great experience in their respective fields. All the faculties are good but the best faculty in terms of all aspects is Faculty of Science. There are 2 Class Tests (CT) & A external examination held in a semester. The exams are open book now, it encourages students to search deeply for the knowledge and gain perfection in the topic.
