Beyond GLS University

The course is well structured. In starting before the Moodle exam you are studied the basics of every subject and slowly they increase the difficulty of it. At the end of every year you are requested to do a internship of 2 months minimum.

Internship opportunities are not directly provided by the college, but there is a 100 marks exam that is held and named as corporate exposure. This exam is taken at the end of the year where you have to do a 2 month internship and at the completion, you have to provide the full self made report and completion certificate with experience letter. But you have to find those internships on your own and some help is provided by the faculty incharge to you. I got a 5000 per month internship, in CultureX Pvt. Ltd. Where I worked under marketing and sales department.

In BBA, there is BBA retail, BBA Regular and BBA Honors. In BBA Retail you are skilled up according to a company and after completion you get a job in that company directly. In BBA Hons and BBa Regular, you get provided with campus placements. The famous one was from Maruti in our college.

I don't know about the scholarship of my college but fee structure is very simple. You have to pay the college fees per semester and I can't be through cheque or online payment. You get a particular deadline on which you have to pay the fees, or else penalty charge is added to fees, which is around 250 rs a day for delay.

The social exposure you get is good in the campus. You get a good exposure to clubs and workshops that are provided by college. Infrastructure is not that good I would say. Overall you get some good experience and communication skills through social exposure.

I was initially aiming to get an admission in Ahmedabad University and I actually I got an admission there. But the fees were not justifying the course. I was not ready to pay 4 LPA for a bachelor degree, which was fees of Ahmedabad University. GLS was offering whole course under 3.5 Lacs. I got convinced. I only applied for Ahmedabad University and not any other college. To be honest, admission system is very simple. You have to fill online form and provide some documents to the admin office, and you get a WhatsApp Message for the admission. Cutoffs are not needed as such in here. You should just get a minimum of 45-50% in 12th.

Faculty is very friendly but not much of professional behaviour. Exam schedules are according to semester wise. You get 3 exams in a semester. First is a Moodle exam of 20 marks and internal exam is of 70 marks and university exam is of 70 marks as well.
