Campus is beautiful and has everything inside only
Clubs are socialisable and skill development helping
Hostels are good and comfortable so living accomodation is good

Dislikes

Too big campus, non AC classrooms, have to walk a lot
Food is not good for North Indian people in hostel mess
No holiday or break in diwali to go home

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is according to the course. Chip industry will see boom in future so it was a smart decision to take ECE branch. Curriculum prepares well for the real life applications and gives a better understanding.

Internships Opportunities

Various types of internships are available like research, industry, summer, academic etc. a lot of benefits are gained by students in these internships like forming discipline, good cgpa, selection in interviews etc.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. A lot of companies visit for in campus placement and the average placement data is pretty good compared to other colleges, highest package has reached upto 2 crores and minimum stays around 2-3 lakhs per year. About 90-95% students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees paid is - 3,00,000 per year The Seat booking was - 10,000 one time The Hostel fees is - 1,69,000 per year Management fees - 2,00,000 one time OBC scholarship available but didn't get it yet

Campus Life

A lot of events and festivals are conducted for example aarush event, Milan which is a lot of fun and some celebrities come sometimes. One con is no freshers party. Library is undoubtedly the best part of campus with comfort and a huge collection of books and thesis. All the sports are available and a lot of clubs are there for creatives techies and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are available in 2,3,4,12,16 sharing as well as single rooms, boys and girls hostels are separate and very comfortable to live. Ac and non AC both hostels available. Food is good for South Indians but not much for North Indians. Online booking for hostels are done during admission. Affordability is alright.

Admission

I didn't apply to any other college as I wanted to take a drop so I only gave the exam for SRMJEE and took the admission last minute as the plan for drop year changed, so I can't compare other colleges but it is worth it to join SRM

Faculty

Faculty is very good and very helpful whenever needed, really knowledgeable. Best faculty is English and maths, they r very good teachers and very helpful Physics faculty is not very good, need improvement Internals take up good portion of cgpa so assignments are very important

The curriculum is relevant and covers both theory and practical subject it helps develop skills needed for the fashion industry more practical training and industry exposure would improve the course further

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

I like the MBA to learn about the marketing domain and gather the proper information. And I planned to do the course in the KVIM and they used the digital methods to the course and the give the proper content to succeed the course

My great experience in HIMT

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
