A College to succeed

There is no negative remark to GL Bajaj. But there is a very big positive point is that their placement status. They are very best in providing placement opportunities to students, which is a big achievement for any college as at last they make sure that every student of college gets placed.

Course Curriculum is very good as they followed the full course structure given by AKTU. There are 6 subjects in each semester. In first year some subjects are not that much important in prospective of my branch, like chemistry, physics, manufacturing process, these are not important subjects for me but we have to pass in all subjects. Exam structure is pretty good, they conducted two internal exams and one Pre University test to build the internal marks of students. These internals are organised according to course completed by that time.

Placement of GLbajaj is in the top of all colleges around them. They are providing as much opportunities to students to get placed. For every stream there are lot of companies to get placed. Last year about 149 companies visited my college. Placement percentage is pretty much higher than other colleges. Training and placement officers are very good to co-operate with students. They are trying their level best to make sure that each student gets placement through college. GL Bajaj also provides internship in some companies. In start of seventh semester the internship starts and companies are started coming out campus to recruit. Stipend of internship is about 8 to 10 thousand per month.

There are not very events celebrated in my college. 'India first leadership talk series' 'Entrepreneurship incubation and innovation' 'Oracle academy and student day' 'Achievers club annual fest' These are some events celebrated by college latestly.

Fees of this college is little bit expensive. They are charging 1,45000 per year, that's not a little amount. But as compared to their performance this fees is acceptable and worthy. First year they are charging little bit extra for security and other formalities.

Our university is providing scholarship facility to deserving students. Many students who are eligible are getting benefits of this scheme. About 60,000 rs. scholarship is given to students. It's a great initiative by college to those who genuinely required help.

My college mostly focus on studies. There are various extracurricular activities like coding contest, gaming, treasure hunt, code fest, technofest etc. Sports activities are less but okay at good level. They are more focused to educational activities than sports activities.

Yes, I lived in college hostel for only first year. hostel infrastructure is at moderate level but facilities are great. There are lot of washrooms and water cooler to get cold water during summer. WiFi facility is available and lift is also there as there are 7 floors in building.

Attachment with seniors is not the best for me but we are connected. We communicated when required or if any help needed then we talk. Alumini of our College are very good and they are doing great in their life. There is a alumini meet every year to meet with them for juniors.

I have got admission in this college through UPSEE entrance exam. I have secured about 15000 rank and then got this college through counselling. In counselling I got Information technology branch in G.L.Bajaj and then came to college to complete the next formalities of admission. Then in college after document verification, I got my admission number and my college life started...

In my opinion faculty of my college is best in terms of education, they are very strict and punctual for study. They don't let you bunk or miss any class at any cost. If you do so then you have to ready to face punishment. Faculties are well prepared about their subjects and delivered lectures in perfect manner. In last semester they are little bit lazy but overall very good professors.
