This course is easiest than aby other course.. There will mare based on practical. So we need to focus more o practical. This is the best course to help farmers regarding their agriculture fields and improve their life style

Fees and Financial Aid

Vanitha, studying in university of agricultural sciences dharwad. I am SC and fee structure is about 7050 for a semester. And my bach mate fees around 32,000. Here everything is good.. Once in a week there will be study visits to the nearer villages

My overall experience is very nice. Hers all seniors like our friends and about teachers they are excellent. There are several departments for different subjects. So for practical classes we need to go to respected department of respected subject

Admission

I choosed this college and course because it is one the easiest course and about college it is the top most i.e., 10 th rank in all over india and 1st agricultural college in Karnataka. This is best choice i ever made

Teachers,, professors are very good... They have about 25 to 30 years of experience plus some of them are scientists and research workers.. They provide many extra knowledges including syllabus knowledge

very good and affordable college with good hostel facilitites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was very well structured with both theoretical and Practical exposure. The curriculum is designed in such a way that they are very relevant to real world , this also prepare the students to the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The improvements can be made in the practical part of the courses. There must be regular field visits and utilisation of funds to bring innovation. The internal exam would be after 2 to 2.5 months after the commencement of the semester and practical exams would be immediately after 10 days of the internals. The external or final exams would be after a month of practical exams. There will be enough time to prepare for the exams from the commencement of the semester but there will be no study holidays and gaps between the exams.

Placement Experience:

In this course placement is very low but other competative job is many more.5th semester students are eligible for compus placement. Fertilizer and agriculture engineering companies are visiting in this college. 3 lack package will given in company. Average 9cgp will taken every student. My gole is KAS will study after degree.

My experience at Vijayapur college

In Karnataka, one can get seat in agriculture college through K-CET. We are supposed to give priority order for our colleges. So my priority order was - 1.University of agricultural Sciences, Dharwad 2.College of Agriculture, Vijayapura 3.University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur 4.GKVK, Bengaluru.. So i got into college of agriculture vijayapura. I couldn't make it to UASD dharwad since the cut off was a big high. I put vijayapura college as my 2nd priority because it is the sub campus of dharwad university itself. Uasd was my frst prefereed university because i have heard a lot about its reputation and faculty and campus life. Admission process went through Kcet board. My college rank all over India is 9th and in Karnataka it stands to first among other Agri colleges. Based on my cet ranking I got this college. I thought there will be campus selection , but my assumption went wrong. Admission process - first one should wrote KCET exam. After based on ranking one can go for counseling.
