Course Curriculum Overview

4

Considering the senarios of Mechanical Engineering, this usually focuses on field and practical work. And the university is having different labs to perform the different types of field work. This could be more better if a student had more time on solving the real time problems out in the field. And the exams in this course is a tough shot, but the university is having criteria's which you need to meet to get promoted

Internships Opportunities

3

There are many core companies offering the job for a Mechanical Engineer. The recent company which came in was Flipkart with a package of 17 LPA and desired working location. The job preference was of quality and maintenance supervisor. They had a criteria of no standing reappears backlog and cgpa minimum of 7.0 Only a few students were able to register for that company, else students below the cgpa of 7 were motivated to increase their cgpa by giving improvements in exams.

Placement Experience

3

As for the campus placements, in 7th semester one is eligible for placements. And for the stream of mechanical engineering the placements offering at the moment are just above the average. Highest package was of 3 crore to CSE student . And as of my course one of my classmate got placed in Autodesk with a package of 28 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The regular fees for Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering is of 240000 yearly, 120000 a semester. And there's a provision of LPUNEST with which the scholarship is decided like of, 20% 30% and 50% 20% giving you 840000, 30% giving 740000 and 50% giving you 60000. Also financial aids are also given to students like the student loan, to those who are not capable of paying the fee.

Campus Life

4

Every day there is an event going on this university. There are different student organisations made for the smooth flow of an event. Social life is also very active and fast. Also interschool matches are conducted and also sports meet etc.

Admission

During covid time there was not much of a scope for opting for different colleges. As this college was near the proximity location from my hometown I only applied to this college. The process of admissions was an easy one, there were teachers very supportive and understanding, and we just needed some ID verification and some personal papers.

Faculty

2.5

The course structure is divided into following sub parts CA 1 Mid terms CA 2 CA 3 Practicals End term There is so much working load on a student to complete his/her CA's and then once completed in short span of time other tests begin. Faculties are moderate in this university, gives a lot of time and knowledge to students but in case of behaviour I'll say they're not so good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
