Bcom honours is a famous and value cource for commerce students and if you do it with a reputed University like BHU it holds a value also you can prepare for other professionals courses along with bcom hons

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are good the companies are not that reputed but still you can get placed, the roles in intership depends upon the course you are persuing, rn I'm a first year student so don't have much experience but seniors tell all these things.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of BHU is not so good but if you have enough skills and accedmics you can get placed between 3-4 LPA , or you can prepare for professional cource like CA OR MBA the company which gives placement are not that reputed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Yearly fees is 32300 , hostel fees is 5000pa in first year and decrease in second year the mess charge are 4000 per month , But BHU provides scolorship for students with low family income, BPL, and physically disabled

Campus Life

The Banaras it self is a festival but in festival fest are organised Free Library facilities is given to students with a cyberlab All types of sports are available and coaches are provided if you are good in that sport

Hostel Facilities

New Hostels are too good tbh Type food is pretty good and menu is designed by students The charges for hostels are very low 3-4k in a year If you go for room or pg it can cause you trouble in terms of food expense and rent

Admission

I genuinely prefer BHU over DU except top 5 college of DU because the fees structure is very decent and opportunities are almost the same , I got Deen Dayal Upadhyay college Delhi University but the approx expenses I have to take us of 150000+ per year

Faculty

All the teachers and professors are well educated and helpful, but strict in terms of studies, also they do not give out of marks to any students so you can't score more than 90% in graduation rest everything is good

Placement Experience:

You get eligible after your graduation or while pursuing your last semester for placements there are very much companies which have visited so far like IBM one of a student got 52 lakh package from Microsoft and oyo IndiaMART are pretty much good companies which are hiring at a decent price and give you average package which is around 4 to 5 lakhs or 6 so there is a higher rate of placement like 8285% students who register get placed in good companies and I am thinking about joining my family business because it is more feasible for me

Placement facility is also available in Amity University, you can get placed even in second year after campus placement program if you get selected in interview. Companies would be infotech, google, Flipkart and based on the course you are persuing. Percentage would be more than 90% to get placement. My plans is to prepare for RBI grave b after completing this degree

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you are eligible for campus placements. There are no such big companies visited in last year rather than mini start-ups. Companies like byjus, tata and reliance visited before lockdown. The highest package is around 5 LPA and the average is around 3.5 lpa. Around 70 percentage of students gets internship opportunities. My plan after getting my degree is to create a successful business.

Good College but little extra curricular activities

Remarks:

Thought the college is good but there are certain criteria in which college is not good as private as per the facilities provided bu them. Thought if your concern is only limiting to the degree you can go ahead but if you want that they must provide you with some good placement and job opportunities they aren't.

Banaras Hindu University is a reputed central university. The campus of BHU is the huge and best place to spent your 5 year law course. Pros- Freedom of thought as you are not burdened with so much workload college life is chill. Semester exams are too easy to fail. Professors are experienced and qualified they can give you the best content Hostel life is different for boys and girls. Boys have full freedom to explore. Hardly any rules are imposed. You will learn a lot more in the hostel about people and life. Cons- There is hardly any focus on extracurricular activities students have to take all the initiative. Professors are of a traditional mindset. BLAT entrance is conducted generally in May and most probably the new semester begins in July- august. Believe it or not, you will curse the place in the beginning but cry and miss this place forever. There is something about this place.
