College Review

Around the clock perspective about the college is positive. I am very likely to recommend the college, but, it depends on personal interest as well. The college has both, negative, and positive points; mostly the positives.

The academic curriculum includes a vast range of subjects ranging from the elementary basics to the in depth study of the subject. The subjects are distributed across 8 semesters, roughly 6 months for each semester. Furthermore, practicals hold individual credits in each end semester examination. Practicals and Theory papers are held at the end of the semester to analyze the enrolled student's knowledge.

Placement and job opportunity varies with the field. CS-IT-EC and similar branches hold more probability to be placed over CE-AU-Mech. Until my presence, the internship had to be managed by myself, and there was no stipend.

Apart from the tiny events organized by the hostellers at the campus, the two major events are 1. Garba Night (in Navratri) 2. Moonstone (around March-April) which is a very intensive fest ranging across 3-5 days.

The fee structure is absolutely and totally justified with the facilities and courses offered. It can be easily said that the fee structure is feasible. Government scholarship makes it even easier for students.

The education load is easy to access. Several banks off education load to students enrolled in Medicaps University. Furthermore, there used to be a Chancellor scholarship at my time, but I think, it has been scraped.

The labs are fully equipped. Practicals used to be an integral part of the academics, and thus the fully furnished labs. Although, the sports and extracurricular weren't encouraged much, until the establishment of various clubs.

The alumni network is weak. Alumni meet is very rare, which, apart from the reluctance of administrative authority, is partly due to reluctant alumni students too. The interaction with senior students has been a little help too.

The senior faculty is proficient in their field, with a few exceptions, obviously. The fresh recruits are arduous and supportive. The syllabus is covered in a good manner, and all the tests are performed.
