Honest review on Academics and Campus Life in Medicaps University

Campus is very huge with lush green gardens within the campus. There are 3 canteens available inside for the students as well which are reasonable.
Faculties are present in large numbers and most of them are very helpful . You can easily reach them for any help by visiting their alloted cabins .
V block the main academic block for cse department is good and very well built. The classrooms are big and labs are advanced with high end pcs also the washrooms are very clean.

Dislikes

Campus life is very moderate in medicaps and most of the students are from districts outside indore or from other states. Also do not expect many major events or festival celebrations here as only one annual event moonstone is held which is okayish.
Curriculum is mostly theory based and it does not meet the moder industry standards of current tech world . More of practical based teaching should be included in curriculum.
Placement since last few years has been somewhat less as compared to previous years . The placement cell is bringing the companies by the hiring process doesn't seem fair .

Placement Experience:

Placement activities generally start from 6th semester and companies start coming for campus drive from 7th semester. Since last few years the percentage of students getting placed has been falling but still a lot of companies come . Companies like tcs (mass recruiter), accenture, cisco, ibm, tech mahindra, cognizant ,etc . There would be some companies which are starups but they only recruit 2-3 students at generally 4-6 lpa packages. The average packages are around 6lpa and most of students get placed in 3-4 lpa package only. Around 40-50% Students get placed others go for off campus. Huge packages like 20lpa or 15lpa is rare and only 1-2 students get it.

good infrastructure surround in good location good restaurant food is very good around college

Dislikes

faculty is not that much good, you have to study online,
very high fees even the courses like bca
very strict in attendance needed more than 75% to attend end sem exam otherwise apply medical certificate only attendance is less than 60%

placement is good 60% to 70% chance there for getting the average package from 3 year students are ready for palcements and internship depending on your skill and academic performance companies mainly comes in it sector like infosys ,tcs, wpro, capgemini, cognizant,deloitte ,cico etc and many more highest is 48 lpa and average around 3 to 6 lpa for more you have to fight off campus placement as i am pursuing bca if i get a good job no matter on camus or off campus i'll stick to it get a experience if not got a good placement then mca from better colleges

The faculty is friendly and supportive towards students..
My college's overall atmosphere is so fresh .

Dislikes

The crowd here is not so good, student's don't help each other.

Their foreign exchange programme which helps students to study abroad for a semester
Two languages other than Hindi and English are Mandatory to learn in which one have to be any foreign language and one have to be any Indian language
I liked that their are many clubs for extra curricular activities which helps in building confidence

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester a student becomes eligible for placements companies such as amazon delloite are major recruiter highest package a student got was 45 lpa and about 98% students get placed as authorities helps them to achieve this i am planning for a placement in myntra or boat

My college my life

Likes

Campus infrastructure is very nice enjoy your life
Teachers are strict for study and well explained
Students are also good in the college

Dislikes

Attendance are compulsory in the college
We are not able to do any internship due to attendance
Students are more in btech so placement opportunities are likely to be less in it

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get opportunities to seat in the placement there are many companies come in our collage like tcs infosys cisco boatnet etc highest package ever gone is 48 lakhs and average package is of 6.5 lakhs according to collage 95+% students get placed but it's not reality my plane is to do job after degree

Medicaps University - A brief

Likes

Infrastructure was good, the buildings and labs were well equipped
Facilities provided were enough for a college student
Library was vast and detailed wit a good environment

Dislikes

There were some unnecessary rules which were to be followed
Coming in formals was an headache and unnecessary as per my opinion
The faculties and college staff is unsupportive

Placement Experience:

There were decent amount of companies coming for in campus placements, but there is still a scope of better companies which can come, not sure on the exact details of placements but there were enough companies if you are skilled

Likes

It has a very large library and a peace environment foe learning.
It has a highly Educated faculty and that help studenta in studies.
It has a inside stationary and canten which ia very good for hosteler.

Dislikes

The addition fees that they take for exam that is 2500
Sometimes most of the teacher do partiality.
They need to update some syllabus of 1st year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is not updated so they need to update mean put only that subjects that helps atudents in there career.The timing of the exam that is from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm is not good at all it the time when all feel sleepy.

To choose forensic science in medicaps university or not

Likes

The campus life is good as it is an engaging college
Faculties are also good specifically in btech departments as they are quite professional and experienced
Campus has a fest called moonstone which basically is an annual event and it is good

Dislikes

The placements are only offered in btech and mba course
Other subjects are basically ignored when it comes to placement infrastructure everywhere
Attendances are really tough to cover up as it requires a minimum 75% to be eligible for examination

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chose this course as it really is intresting are covers a variety of sub subjects in the forensic sciences field and the syllabus really covers everything you need. Although just bsc wont give a job u need to study further more. Exams are only easy if you study otherwise its just a never ending cycle of backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of the clg is good and also the faculty have the mixed ratio most of them are good but some don't even know to teach

Dislikes

Their is a strict criteria for 75% if not you have to fill the form of above 60% or if lower than that then you have attend those classes again in next sem or year

Placement Experience:

Yes there are many companies that come on clg and provide placement for students but the company that provides placement for most of the students in TCS with the pakage of 3.5lacs . And some of the company provides more pakage than that
