All you need to know about IIT Jodhpur

The curriculum is still little outdated but still it is industry relevant and provides knowledge of industry workings. The courses make us real-world problem solver and then we have to excel that field with making some efforts from our side too.

Google, samsung, media.net, seimens and other big mnc's come to offer sde roles. Core companies also come for giving opportunities to core field students and organization like drdo also hire interns from our college for r&d for drdo projects.

Our college provides good placement and still working on making placements more good. Students are also involved in placement cell. We have placement representative and internship representatives for every branch this provides us a upperhand.

I am paying around 1,46,000rs as fees it includes all mess fees, tution fees and hostel fees. I pay 1 lakh rs as tution fees, 19,000 as mess fee and 27,250 as hostel and other fees. If you are sc, st then there will be no tutuion fees for you but you have to pay for mess and hostel. For non sc/st candidates if your parent's income is less than 1 lakh then all tution fees will be waived off if it's between 1-5 lakh 66% will be waived off but if your parent's income is more than 5 lakh you have to pay full fees. Other private scholarships form also float and information regarding that will be floated on your mail. The fees for complete course will be around 10-12 lakhs without any waiver.

We organise prometeo ( tech fest in jan or starting of feb) , varchas ( sports fest in october starting), ignus (cultural fest in feb mid or feb ending). We also organise inter department and inter hostel fests too. It provides a great exposure and make cultural life rich and campus life adventurous. The iit jodhpur have 852 acres of area and we have our own developed Institute area and still developing some of the areas

Everyone is given single room with ac installed in each room which is unique from any iit. The meal is served 4 times ( breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner). The hostel is allocated to you at the time of your registration.

Our college admits through jee advance and gate and other methods too. You can search for it from iit jodhpur site. It gives you detailed instructions and clearly mentions admitting process. So if you have any doubt go to website and check the particular info.

We got 1:15 or 1:20 something ration for faculty to student but they have office hourse and you can go and meet them in their office directly. If you have any kind of doubt just feel free to ask them they will answer you. There are two exams mid sem and end sem and we have to study as they are tough to score but our saviour is relative grading otherwise we will be cooked fr.
