Remarks

The best part of college is the students. When you come here you find yourself surrounded by a plethora of talented people which gives a positive vibe to you. Note: the biggest flaw of the college is that it does not have an inbuilt ground or sports room.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since IET is affiliated with DAVV which is an independent university, the course curriculum us quite flexible. The course can be altered anytime according to the current market needs. The course is pretty similar to all other colleges though. There are two semesters in one year having different courses. In one semester there are 3 mid semi test of 20 marks each( from which 2 of your best marks are considered) and one end sem exam of 60 marks.

Placement Experience

There are a lot of job opportunities provided to the student. About 70-80% of students are selected in the on campus interviews. The highest package goes to around 17-24 lac per annum. But the problem is that most of the students are selected by mass recruiters like aperture, Infosys, tata, etc. Although companies like Byju's and Swiggy have also started coming in the past few years which gives scope to bigger packages. On campus, Internship is provided by the college for the 3rd year students only.

College Events

The major events celebrated in the college include Teachers day, Engineers day, INVENTO-the technical fest of the college ., and the biggest of all -AAKSHANK- central India's largest cultural fest., which is not less than a festival for the IETians.it goes for four days ( and nights )and is a treat for everyone.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is, I think., pretty expensive for a government college. The annual fees of the college are around 80,000? which has to be paid in two instruments. ( 50,000 during the admission and 30,000 in the second semester.)

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers two major scholarships ( provided by the MP government)the first being MMVY which offers free education for the meritorious students and other for the ST/SC/OBC students which provide a scholarship of 30,000?.

Campus Life

The best part of the college is extracurricular activities. if you have any sort of talent, the college provides ample opportunities for you to explore your talent. There are a large no. of clubs for different activities. Some of them are - NSS, GOONJ(the official band), ART LEGION(the art club)and many more.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network of the college is not that strong. It's still a work in progress. The senior is definitely very helpful though. A very important reason for the fun life in IET is the Junior-senior relationship.

Faculty

The faculty here is really skilled. Most of the teachers are good at what they do. But of course, there are some bad ones too. Some of them are awfully strict while some of them are just boring. But as a whole, the faculty here is really good.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

The Institute has a separate cell for training & placement that cares for the industrial exposure & placement of students. They have the intensive classes for communication skills, personality development and group discussion that makes them to lead in the competitive world.

I had Applied in various colleges. I was getting jc Jabalpur Engineering College, but the condition of Jaunpur miram college is really bad, and I didn't feel the areas safe, and also it is in the place which is much farther than my own house, so it's somewhere. Create a sense of insecurity inside me , whereas indore Is the business capital of MP Madhya Pradesh and DPV is the second best college in Madhya Pradesh? I was getting RGI PT too, but again the distance problem, and it was not into my interest. One of the things of taking this college was the branch that I was getting, that is CS BS that really facilitates her. College provides good placement opportunities and great crowd to interact with

At my rank in JEE this was the best option I choose. And I never regret being a part of this college and a part of this branch. IET DAVV College Review(An honest one)

Besides the IITs and NITs in Madhya Pradesh, IET DAVV and SGSITS are the two most renowned government aided institutes.
