Remarks

Overall if someone is so serious about his career and is enthusiastic about learning cutting edge technologies in the market please do stay away. Do not fall for the state wise college rankings. Just trust me and if possible try to get into IITs or NITs by working hard for one more year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I graduated with a degree in computer science stream. My college is affiliated to JNTU. In my opinion, the curriculum which we follow is somewhat outdated. There is a need for it to be revised based on the current technology trends in the market.

Placement Experience

The placements are not so great here. Amazon is the only tier-1 college that visits the campus for placements. The placements cell in charge doesn't even verify the background of the company before it visits the campus. There are cases where some of the friends lost their jobs and wasted their time due to these fake companies. College doesn't provide us any internship opportunities something themselves have to apply online.

College Events

Nirvana- one of the most reputable college events in the city, is MGIT's cultural fest. Getting diverse celebrities on board, to perform every year is the hallmark of Team Nirvana. Nirvana 2017 saw a crowd of over 3000 groovings on the beats of DJ Siana Catherine

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible for a middle class family. But according to me, it's just a waste of money. Instead of this, there are some engineering colleges that have more or less the same fee structure but they provide a good education.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a general category student. So this is not applicable to me. But some of my friends availed fee reimbursement which was provided by the state government. College doesn't provide us any scholarships.

Campus Life

It entirely depends on one's interests. No one will be guiding us or nothing of that sort. We have a physical fitness trainer but I don't know why college pays him a salary which is of no use in any sense.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is not so great. Seniors just use juniors to write their assignments and do their filthy chores. If you raise your voice they will obstruct you from attending any events in the college.

Faculty

We have very few faculty members who hold a Ph.D. degree. The rest all of them are MTech graduates. They obviously are not top notch. Most of them are just limited to the syllabus in the textbooks. They can't think out of the box when such questions are posed to them.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

NIT Warangal - A dream college

Placement Experience:

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. Prefer cbit. The admission process in this college is simple. You should get seat through t. this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
