Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is somewhat good in initial years of your engineering, you will enjoy each and every subject. But some subjects could be annoying and questionable why they are teaching that because they seems sensless just like EVS is one the subject taught to us in engineering which made no sense at all. The course structure for FBL (foreign business language) is good as it allows you to learn an additional language at different levels.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

This course structure and fees is designed based on semester-wise- Semester 1 and 2- 1,25,000 Semester 3 and 4- 1,28,500 Semester 5 and 6- 1,32,500 Semester 7 and 8- 1,38,000 Apart from this if you got back or UFM in any exam your next semester fees will get 1500 extra for this exam. Regarding scholarship- they provide you scholarship based on your marks if distinction A (above 96% in boards) and otherwise majorly for SC/ST based on your financial state upto 100% scholarship and if army brat you get upto 60-70%

Campus Life

4

So far overall experience is really good, have explored different things, and it has evolved me as a person individually. You get to meet alot of people, you socialise and understand how this real world works. You deal with new things, you have to balance out both work, study and play along with times of fun.

Admission

Since I was a covid batch, amity seems a good option in Noida. Amity University Noida campus is the oldest campus of all and is renowned for its high tech teaching systems and values to other activities as well which includes sports, creative tasks, events and more. It seems a really good option to focus on your studies and have to enjoy your college days. Compared to other colleges in NCR area, amity is closet and have importance at the same.

Faculty

4

Faculties are really helpful and easy to approach, they will help you throughout the course. Whether it's your mentor or PL (program Leader) they will guide you at each step. Sometimes, some faculty may be little different to behave strict but otherwise supportive in nature, easy to approach and addressing. Exam system is divided into two major parts for your core subjects- 1. Minor exam which is your internal exam of 15-30 marks. 2. Major exam which is your final exam of 60-70 marks. For certain subjects the exams are online mode also which are mostly MCQ based and proctored.

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field

The records placement cell is impressive because they organize useful and up-to-date seminars from time to time. Therefore the placement record is one of the best in Greater Noida. Last year was 98% placement. Placements start from the 7th semester.
