This is one of the TOP Institutes in India. Choose it over any other private college. Generally Ranked 3 After Ihm Pusa And Mumbai. The faculty is amazing and Placements are exceptional. Well reputed companies come for campus placement.100% Students are got placed. TAJ Group,ITC,PARK,IHG,BATA,CCD,DOMINOS etc visited the campus.average package is around 300000 rupees per annum

Course Curriculum Overview

It is one of the best course for being in the Hospitality Industry. The exams are Semester based. It is not that hard to score good marks in the exam. Exams are of both Theory and Practical based on equal weightage of marks.

Placement Experience

College provides IT that is Industrial Training across all the 5 star deluxe hotel properties. It also gives stipends monthly during IT. College provides 100% placements across all the job sectors. Pay Packages are also very good.

College Events

IHMK Champs Saraswati Puja Gourmet Nite Food Festivals There are various events that are celebrated across the year in college. Be it Independence Day to Saraswati Puja. The college organizes Gourment Nite which is Eastern India's biggest of its kind.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is around 300000 - 325000 for the 3 years. It may vary from year to year. The fee is feasible and is quite cheap than that of other Hotel Management Colleges in the city. Overall the package price is feasible.

The college has one of the best faculty in the country. All the lecturers are very experienced. They are very cooperative and helps everyone in various ways. It has a set of best faculties in the country.

Build a Career with NSHM Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Most of students get more than 2 placements. They placement is over in 1 Month and now a lot of students are being placed in Europe, USA, Mauritius with a very good package. They are also placing students in Retails, FMCG, Entertainment and other areas. But i think the fee that we pay, we can get back only in third year when students can go for Internship, as they can earn more than 6-7 Lakhs and palcements is just too good.

NSHM Hotel and Tourism Management, Durgapur - A Place to Study

Placement Experience:

Students are given placements before the final year. A lot of companies come with Oberoi, Taj, Marriott and others. International Placements is done through companies who conduct online interviews, but i dont know what paramters they ask in interview. But placements is 100%. Placements in India is around 4LPA while International it is more than 12-15 LPA

After giving NCHMCT JEE 2024 i lost hope that I cannot clear the exam and applied to IIHM and gave PI there. I was selected in IIHM and when NCHM results were declared i cleared that too surprisingly with an AIR 500. Then there were many process. IHM Kolkata an experience

In order to take admission in any IHM we need to give JEE exam for Hotel Managment and depending on your rank they allow you to choose the college of your liking. E.g My All india rank was 803 which allowed me to choose from top seven colloges of IHM. I opted for Kolkata as it was close to my hometown.
