I'm done my bsc phy (hons) in this college and I can proudly said that if you're interested and if you want to learn about and gain some knowledge about the subject all teachers will guide you , you don't need coaching just go college and ask them whatever you want like in your real life problems also you can share , they're very much supportive and parenting vibes

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 4390 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

3 year's fees I paid in my course year was 13,170. If you have marks 60% in science groups and ur catagory you'll get scholarship 18,000 per year.for st sc they also provide their caste certificate and get scholarship with less percentage than ur.

Campus Life

In my bsc clg there we're lots of love and fun . We all enjoyed too much in every ocassion held on their by everyone supports. Sports,dance , drawing,chess, evrything done one time in a year for all students can apply.

Admission

Midnapur city college for msc physics I applied. Actually for financial and some minor issues in family I don't go to another college like barasat govt clg, diamond harbour women's University, main reason is the distance between my house to college. In this clg you need to apply online and the eligibility criteria was u have to get 55% above number in your hons subject.

Faculty

Faculty is good for every each student, they always treat us as their own child,there are 6 exam ,and each semester has 2 internal exam and for practical 2 external Teachers are included. if you go to college you'll get easy way to learn and clear the exam.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

My experience at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.

I had only applied for Bishwabharati College, Shantiniketan. The reason for not attending that college is they put my name on the waiting list at the time of admission and on the other side classes were going to start so I took admission near my home which is also known as Debra college. This is one of the best colleges in our area. The teachers here are well qualified and understanding. the fee here is very nominal and the amenties are very good. For admission in our college, we need toh fillup uo the application form through online process and wait for our names to come on the list.
