Course Curriculum Overview

4

the curriculum is well structured and balanced to get a deep knowledge on every concepts required in the field. The teaching methods could be improved . The freaquency of exams will be once a month so wwe will get used to the concepts which we are learning.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Companies like DE shawe, Arcesium, SAP, Arista, Trilogy Innovations visit only for summer internships ,with stipends ranging from 35000 to 1.5 lakhs rupees per month ,and they convert the students who undertake internship. The roles are software developer, technmology analyst, Associate developer and full stack developer. Students need to do some good projects and maintain a good resume to get into further rounds in the interview. Based on our skills Company could offer us an oppournity to do internship. I did my internship at SAP for two months as a associate developer

Placement Experience

5

The Placements are way good than we expect. Students who join here will definitely have a good placement. The companies visiting PSG are mostly Product based companies . Some of the companies are Google, Apple, Amazon etc.. Many companies like DE Shaw attend our college every year. Many startups also visit our college. So students based on their prefernece choose the company they want and could attend the process.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

There are not any special fee based on the categories like OBC,SC. There is one factor to consider like the type of courses like aided or Self finanace. If a specified course is aided then fee for that course is lesser than the self finanace courses. People who join via merit or the TNEA councelling will prefer aided course if available for a specified degree. Management quota have higher fee than the people who join via councelling.

Campus Life

4

The overall experience was good as there will always be some event that occur in our campus. There are also Cultural fest that happen occasionally which provide a good exposure to many students who study there

Admission

This is a prestigious college in India and we could get into the college through TNEA councelling which is conducted be tamilnadu government. The ranking is calculated based on our 12th grade scores of subjects Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I didnt apply to anyother colleges . The only college i applied is PSG .Once we are alloted a specific branch in the college thenthe admission process goes on

Faculty

3

the faculty to student ratio is about 1:7. So we will get a good oppourtunity to meet a lot of well experienced professors. The faculty i liked was Mrs. TamilSelvi who is expertidsed in feilds like Artificial Intelligence and machine Learning, Engineering Graphics, Software Engineering, Android Development. The Exams are like 3 internal exams each semester and a end semester exam.

There's a word outside about VIT that it has so many rules and regulations and they are enforced very strictly but it is not the case. The only thing that is important here is maintaining 75 percentage attendence and not indulge is smoking, drinking or drugs etc and everything will be fine
