Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is one of the best I have seen in india. It is really inatensive and you learn about multiple fields of psychology. You are also required to do a minor track such as animation, english literature, business management based on interest. By the end of the degree, you would also be receiving a dimploma in your minor track.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The university offers a lot of scholarships for students above 75% marks in 12th. The tution fees increases each year. In the first year it was 52000 per semester (there are two semesters per year). In the second year, it was 54000 and in the last year, it was 56000. Students can also receive merit scholarship based on their CGPA.
Campus Life
While the campus is in the middle of highway, there are really good in terms of fests and clubs. Every month, one or other club would conduct an event. Especially the cultural fests is something we all can look forward to.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is neat. It is bit expensive considering the fact that it is non inclusive of food. There are messes and many canteens in campus tho. The hostel is inside the campus so you don't have to worry about transport to campus. It gets really hot during summer so ac rooms are recommended.
Admission
I started my admissions late and Amity was one of the every few universities that was still accepting applications. Apart from that, the course curriculum was amazing. The fact that it emphases on clinical psychology from semester 1 is something I don't see often in India
Faculty
There are really good facilities. They especially teach you a lot when spoken personally. The course is really well planned and intensive. You are required to do two internships by the end of 3 years. So by the end, you have really good knowledge about different aspects of psychology - theory and practical.
