Course Curriculum Overview
IIT BHU curriculam is comprehensive and focuses on industrial applications.In 1st year every department student will follow same bascis and core will be introduced to students from 2nd year. Coding is introduced to every student in 1st year. CGPA matters when student is chooseing Open elactives in other departments and Depatment electives in departemnt. Mintaining 8+ CGPA will help student to get desired subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Many Mncs will vistit IIT BHU to hire Interns. TPC will look into it. studetns should appear for Online assiesment and interview to get internship. medium level coding questions and apptitude will be asked in OA. top companies offer 100,000 stipend per month and on average 60000 per month would be stipend for all interns.
Placement Experience
TPC of IIT BHU is really good. IIT BHU is well known for its Placemets, It has 93% of placement rate of year 2023-2024 for UG 4 year. Top MNC's visit our campus to hire student. INR 1.65 cr was the higest pacage of 2023-2024. The avarage packge of students are 20 lpa here.
Fees and Financial Aid
IIT BHU offers an annual tuition fee of INR 150,000 for all students, along with other fees including examination, registration, gymkhana, festivals, medical, student subscpritions, hostel seat and fans, electrical charges, placement registraation is INR 6250 and mess fees are INR 150000 per sem. ST/SC students have INR 0 as tution fees so, there fess are INR 21250 per Sem. Non ST/SC students can clime apply for Fee remission with there low - income certificates or EWS. Scholorships like ONGD, NSP and UP scholarshios are common. I Personally claimed NSP, which provides INR 60000 annually.
Campus Life
Overall experiance is good for students at IIT BHU. The process of learning is very intractive with faculty in class rooms and its enjoyable. Students can learn with joy. Club culter will help them to choose there intrest like dance , music , sports and scienses. 3 fests are conducted in IIT BHU, Kahiyatra, Spardha and Technex where student can particpate or work in fest to get better experiance in event mangemanets.
Hostel Facilities
Hosters are value for money. They are double sharing rooms. Most of the hostels are Old, they are provied by Wi-fi, purified water for 24 hrs. every hostel have effordable canteens. Mess maharaja system followed by IIT BHU. Food is really good here. new hostels like Morvi 2, DG1 and DG2 are provied with bettter facilites.
Admission
Im parsuing Mining Engineering which is a rare branch in engineering stream. IIT BHU is a best place to study where students can learn by real life experiances. this is collage where a Ungerground mine is sittuated for students. Open campus culter of IIT BHU make me feel like im realated to normal socity where rest of the universties are strict.
Faculty
IIT BHU has 324 faculty members maintaing 1:4 faculty to student ratio. many studetns personally intract with fculty during there UG project and learn with team. Question papers are based on class-discussions and relative grading is followed by all faculty.
