Hostel Facilities

5

It is great and comfortable. The rooms are either 2 or 3 seater depending on the number of students opting for hostel. The food is hygienic and tasty. The washrooms are cleaned twice a day and are maintained clean by the staff.

Admission

Main reason was for its location in Chennai. Prime location and a metro city with a tag of government college led me to choose this college. Moreover this college chooses you and not the other way in most cases.

Faculty

4

Faculty is great and they provide individual attention to all the students as the batch size is just 100. Regular exams are conducted throughout the year before the university exams. Professors are approachable.&:'s. Dbjidisms. Eheudiksnsbshusisjxnbbkldlemenndnjciciczkksjen dbjkkejjenenndkkzkzkxndnnebbenwnidkxkxnndbjsiskkwnsnnxjciidisjejrb.&&:&:'Dan.3sjsididj

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
