Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is a vast course and it needs lot of patience and perseverance, you can enjoy a lot but keep a eye on your academics as well, so that you don't lag a long way at the end of the year. This scope is a noble one, as everyone knows, that's why I choosed this. During the course, you will be physically and mentally be prepared to tackle work load and handle stress. They have shifted 2 subjects from pre final year to final year, we are the upcoming batches for the new curriculum, so I don't know that how this will impact this i.e, in a better way or not. Finally about exams, it may cause nightmare, study regularly so that you will come to know the questions atleast once, plan accordingly to tackle the exam. Have a calm mind it will help you a lot, explore more things in the due course. All the best guys

Internships Opportunities

4.5

CRMI- It is of 365 days as in other medical colleges, you will be posted in different departments for varying days, as the hostel and hospital are neighbors you can be there within few minutes. Patients load is good and enough for the strength, it is not overwhelming so you will not be exhausted.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fees is nearly around 13600 Rest of the year fees will be less than 7000 Other than tuition fee, you need to pay exam fees at the end of the year, as you near university exams it is nearly ?12000 for the first and second years, it may vary for the rest as the curriculum has changed. U need to spend money for mess and hostel room rent if you are staying in hostel, it costly annually about ?70000 + or - 10000 as per your needs (it is an average) U need to pay for the record books, IA notes, lab essentials, etc... U will spend for college functions, in this college you will spend nearly 3 to 4k for these functions in a year. Other than that its all your own expenses

Campus Life

4.5

Events conducted - Tamil Culturals day (Thamizhini) - Culturals day (Eternia) - Sports day (Veeradhana) - Academic event (Illuminara) - Hostels day (Vidiyal) - Graduation day - Pongal celebration - Holi celebration Each department will conduct their own CME atleast once in a year and quizzes will also be conducted. 2 councils are in practice, Student's council and Hostel's council.

Hostel Facilities

5

Rent per month is ?1500. Since it is a new college compared to other medical college, the infrastructure of the college hostel is good. Advantage is it is very near to the college and you can go to the lecture hall through an interconnection bridge between college and hostel, you will not be exposed to direct sunlight and rain. It is an main Advantage.

Admission

12th class and passing neet exam is the eligibility. You will get a list of documents once the portal has been opened for admission, you can also know it from the youtube channels also. Get ready the documents asap or else it might cause unwanted pressure at the end. You will be given enough time to apply for counselling and all, but apply for certain government approved documents like Community certificate, nativity certificate, income certificate (if req), etc.. At the time of admission you are asked to pay ?15000 for establishment fee for all and for hostellers ?15000, and in total ?15000 will be refunded at the end of the course. According to me reservation system is good, it can be revised, other than that not at all a problem.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are excellent and well qualified, this college has higher success rate than other government Medical Colleges. Certain departments engage us with learning so deeply, that we actually can learn better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) is pretty relevant to today's needs of a doctor, with more competency based skill learning and regular assessment of students, along with subjects like attitude, ethics and communication skills, pandemic modules etc. The only disadvantage is it still has a few redundant systems such as record maintenance etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor, I can help people a lot. There is a lot to study and knowing the human body, to cure disease, and much more is a great experience. The curriculum prepares me to do great in my future endeavors. The thing I think they lack is a bit more clinical exposure for all students separately. Teaching methods are all good. They conduct exams after each important section, they teach. Around 6-7, internal exams are kept.

Speaking about positive remarks the teaching is very good, faculties are the best, the college campus is away from the city rush. I am talking about the negative remarks the hospital is about three kilometres from the college, the food is just average, the place don't have any major attractions, lack of greenery.
