St Thomas College

The course is very good and in terms of curriculum it is very relevant and comprehensive. As this college is very good for transportation from any place as it's situation at centre of town. The exams will be conducted semester vise.

For the placement opportunities in college students are eligible from the 5 th semester. The placement cell provide classes and other details and they help us to achieve the placement opportunities. Accenture, teach for India etc are some of the companies that offer placement. In last year about 200 students achieve placement in different companies.

In admission time we should pay an amount of 10000/- as University fees and the first semester fees should also be paid at that moment. As I studied bvoc forensic science it's a self financing course and it's semester fees are 22250/- for first semester and for the second semester I paid 18750/- and for the third semester it is 22860/- and for fourth semester it's 19690/- and for fifth semester I paid an amount of 24580/- and for sixth semester it will be about 18750/- beside this the exam fees include 960/- for every semester exam. And there is no other fees for the college. Even if we are under management or under any reservation category we should pay this amount as fees.

There are so many programs that are conducted by oru college. Union conduct the arts and every department conducted their own fest in every year. Novos, picturesquare, emparase etc are some examples. Besides arts there will be sports day and st Thomas College is named college for sports events. There are also so many clubs that are working besides this.

As the college is very near to my house I choose this college. Besides that the teaching and the placement opportunities also influenced me. For admission, we should apply for the course through online in the st Thomas College website and after the publication of rank list admission will be started on the basis of mark in Higher secondary level. There is no other exams or interview for the college admission.

There are enough faculty members in the college for each category. As for teaching and for other offices staff etc. The teaching is very well appreciated and for the exams they make as very well and there will be 6 semester for ug program and for each semester there will be 2 internal exams. The internal mark is put on the basis of this internal exams and other assignments.
