- Except for the CSE branch, almost every branch has a tough academic life here.
- There is barely any on-campus placement from the core branches.
Course Curriculum Overview
Chemical Enhineering is an underrated branch in terms of appreciation. This branch holds its own beauty, and is required in almost every aspect of life. It allows the students to interact with real-world application and is mostly practical based. The teachers can improve their teaching method and make it really enjoyable to learn. The first Class test is conducted within 2 months of the starting of new semester, then after around 1 month, CT 2 is conducted which is followed by the end sem exam with a gap 18-20 days.

There are some literature books available too in a seperate shelf. The classrooms are very basic with proper lights, 4 fans in every classroom, basic desks and green or blackboards. Each hostel student is provided with a seperate bed, table, chair, tubelight, fan and almirah. The menu is decided by the student themselves, the quality of food is below average. The registration of hostel is done parallely during physical reporting and the hostel is quite affordable.
Admission
I applied for the UPTAC counselling and got alloted this college. I chose this college as it the rank 1 college of AKTU. I did apply for the Gautam Buddha University but took admission here as it provides better quality of study in engineering. The admission in this college is mainly on the basis of the JEE MAINS exam score while lateral admissions are based on CUET scores.
Faculty
For chemical engineering branch, the faculty-to-student ratio is around 1 teacher per 20 students for one batch. The faculty maybe less in numbers but they are highly qualified and experienced their respective fields. There are all type of teachers. Some are exceptionally good while some make the subject difficult to understand. The faculty members are mostly supportive. There are 2 class tests per semester followed by an end-semester examination. Most of the students manage to clear the exam. The course curriculum is nicely designed.
