Likes

I liked the focused teachers and my classmates there
I also like the environment and building of the college
Also there is activities like ncc and abvp and some curiculla activities

Dislikes

There is no proper sanitization of the college
Class rooms were tight and not ventilated and during rains it become humus
There is no farewells and freshers function for students

There is practical periods also till 5 pm but there is absence of practical knowledge like no field visit and all no picnics no functions of any kind the student remains inside those 4 walls and no exposures to real world

Fees and Financial Aid

The GGM Science college is one of the best colleges in jammu and kashmir they offer every subject of the science stream the fee of mine was 15000 per year which is 45000 for the whole b.sc, I have done b.sc with maths physics and electronics

It was Overall average but there is lack of actuall knowledge there is more bookish knowledge no exposure to real world knowledge and there is much more things are needed to be kept in mind before joining this college

Admission

I have applied for this college however I have other options also but there was no need to join them as I am from the science stream so I preferred science college over I thought this is a subject-specific college

Faculty

The marking of the teachers werre good like if u have written the relevant things u will get pass if not then teacher try to pass you! But after all itz all about who you study and how accurate you study

Better campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was good which influenced me to take the course and due to which my parents got motivated and the prefer to me to take this course. due to this I became knowledgeable and I gathered many job opportunities on my near by area. The frequency of exam was good and I corrected that very exam in my difficult level

Very nice experience. I enjoyed a lot while studying there. The staff is very nice and supportive in nature. Bali sir in office is very nice. Library is available and students can access library there

Regretful decision

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like zoology. Studying the anatomy and physiology of humans has been the most interesting part that i wanted to explore in this field. But this course has just disappointed me as they only repeat subjects related to fishes and invertebrates. The teachers don't trach anything except for 1-2 topics that too in a non serious way. Even we can teach better than them.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average. If no campus placement is offered then students searchs for jobs on their own or get the help fron the elders or professors about the future. After 2nd semester completion, the students become eligible for the campus placements. I don't know the details of the companies that visited and made no offers. the highest average package as per company offered is 12lpa. The percentage is not the main criterion for getting placement it is based on the interviews. My plan after getting the degree is to further pursue studies as a PhD scholar.

Practical course is very intresting that's why I chose the course even though they need to do some work on that part as some teachers are still stuck in theory things that's not much relevant for today's need. More workshops should be conducted on weekly basis.
