My Honest Review To My Academy- Shah And Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College

Being into b.Tech we actually had a lot of practicals as compared to theory. We were lucky to have mr. Bhavesh patel sir who was very strict and disciplined in keeping the labs up to date with best equipments.

You need to have a good attendance record. Your cgpa till the 6th and 7th semester needs to be more than 6.5 to get a good placement. You should also have a good reputation towards your placement officers. The college is reputated and has many companies which offer placements. We had hil, gail, reliance industries private ltd, sru steels, bajaj automobile for placement in electronic and telecommunications.

I got my admission because I was in the merit list and my parents had to invest about 1.2 lakh every year as I was a general category student. The fees included everything such as workshop kit, electronic kit, books. But if you fall under the category of reservation then there can be fees concession. Two of my friends who also were a part of the merit list and were from a growing economic family and came under the reservation category had to pay rs. 42000. We had to crack mh-cet as entrance examination.

The college was good with its infrastructure and campus from inside and was also had very good security. The library was a great point of learning and had awesome labs for pratical knowledge. But the area outside was a bit awkward as there were always siren ringing out due to a government hospital and also got a bit affected due to the slums near it. There is a sports activitiy every year in winters after the semesters. We also have our college fest which is in the month of march. As there are a lot of gujrati and kuttchi students in the academy so it's jalosh in navratri for 9 days.

I tried my best to get my admission in swami vivekanand institute of technology chembur but couldn't get it. My parents wanted the college to be nearby so I don't face the hassle of travelling and then I got my admission in shah and anchor kutchhi engineering college in the second merit list.

The faculty is awesome as they have good experience in the industry. Majority of the teacher are post graduates and have a good knowledge. I still took some guidance from personal tutor to improve my cgpa.
