BCA in Bengaluru City University

They teach us the same old syllabus which has been followed for the last 20 years but the teaching style i like. I believe that today's technology has to be taught to students like project building with learned language. Areas of improvement are: 1. Teachers enhancing their teaching style and being prepared before teaching us. 2. Chairman sir listening and sitting on students' issues. 3. Adding real world examples and project building in curriculum. As I mentioned earlier 2 internals every semester are easy and difficult at the same level questions are from previous given assignments. Internals generally end in 3 to 4 days. Semester exams take around 2 months to end with 2 to 3 days gap between every exam. Questions are difficults and sometimes objective types so it makes students confused about how many answers should be written.

From the 5th sem, students can apply for internships and placement. the University provides internship and placement in the 6th semester. Small companies and other service base companies are not too famous to be on the internet. Around 50 to 65 of students crack placement I want to join as usual an amputated company with a good salary. I am interested in Infosys, Accenture, Wipro and TCS and Bosch

I was admitted to this University under the NEP scheme now Karnataka govt has scrapped that so its SEP scheme is being followed. The university has fee scheme system, it is A scheme for govt seats with normal fees of 32,000 and another is scheme B for Management seat with around 90,000 fees with 3,500 semester fees separate every semester. And the actual fee keeps increasing by 5% every year of your study. No financial aid is provided, and no quota system first come first serve system is followed. Scholarship is provided to those students whose family income is less than 70,000.

Every year : 1. BCU ustava is celebrated 2. Freshers Day 3. Farewell 4. Anual sports meet inter-department 5. Dept sports day inter class 6. CS camp competition 7. Culture and talent celebration A student can borrow only two books from the library for a period of 7 to 14 days but anyone can read books available in the library We have projectors and lights and 4 to 6 fans in every classroom We dont have sports teachers and coordinators but the newly constructed building has sports block which will be inaugurated soon. I had applied for ssmrv but the fees were to high so left that but i applied to this University andy my name appeared on the merit list and the fees were affordable so got admitted to this University. Not rejected from any colleges. Admission process of BCU : 1. You submit your documents along with your PU or 12th marks card sealed with the principal signature. 2. When your name appears in the merit list they will guide you through the admission process. The name appears in the merit list on the basis of PU marks and the cut-off is 85% and above.

Every year the University admits 140 students and divides them into 2 sections, each containing 70studentsand that makes classrooms overcrowded and noisy. There are a few faculty who are best in their teachings but some of them have no idea what they are doing. Some faculties are over-friendly with students because even they are 4 to 5 younger than us due to this the students who are friendly with those faculty get full marks irrespective of their performance in exams and overall.
