Course Curriculum Overview

5

The main thing that would pursuit me to choose the college is that it is autonomous and is affiliated by Ranchi University and it has a good name in Ranchi and according to me, we are my family need that I stay close to them, whether it's for studies or for anything, so it's the best place for me to study with high concentration and all, but the only con is it does not provide girls hostel, but on the other hand, large amount of girls hostels are situated near the college and The college has a nice location, which is at the main road, which is a nice and middle place of the town. The convenience is easy.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is almost 65000 There are certain criterias for sts and scs but im from general Same fees is followed for all If you have 80+ percentage in 12th you get direct admission so its truely good On the other hand there is no such placement for bachelors but it has a really good faculy with full dedication towards studies only

Campus Life

4

so The clubs are quite good and the campus is not so big, not so small, but it is a nice place, but our department is very small and our department is as vocational. So we have a timing of 11:45 AM to 3:45 PM, which is a good time to study as well as making a nice time to go and study in the morning and night to show the clubs. I was talking about the clubs. many clubs are there for example, Rotary club NSS club team abhivyakti and so on there, many I don't know about all of them as I am a fresher in that college, but according to me, the campus is also quite good and I think it is a nice place for local people as well as for nearby cities and towns which are craving for a freedom and I wanted to be close to their homes as a nice place for them

Admission

I had been influenced by Amity counsellors to take admission and that, but their offering me online courses which I am. I'm not interested in, but forcefully they are telling me to take that course with an online mode and I'm not, I'm not ready for that and the places which I have, applied for were very far from my place, and my parents are not allowing me to send me those far places, so Ranchi was the best place where I could study and meet my parents to whenever I need and want to meet them the only thing which I regret about being in Ranchi is where I live as far from the college now, planning to shift my hostel from that place to near my college

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is quiet good Studies are quite good. The best or you may say the worst thing is that the college has Uniform, for our course, BCom honours office management and secretarial practices, we have a purple shot light, purple and dark blue pant with a tie and a belly shoes, which I think is good and comfortable, though it is compulsory to wear the uniform daily, or else you may lose your attendance and attendance criteria is 75% which should be accomplished or else you may not eligible to give any of the exams, so let's talk about the exams. We have two exams, per semester, which is mid semester and end semester the mid semester is of 25 marks core papers and 75 marks of all papers for end semester

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.
