Attendence is not compulsory so no going to college
College is at city centre place all market places are avilable
Transport connectivity is good so easy to travel

Dislikes

Very small campus not so spaceous classes
There is no ground in college for playing
Classes are bit old fassion no smart classes are avilable

The course is good as per kolhan university the syllabus is quite easy and exams are not conducted on time some time it take 1year to take exams if you are planning higher studies then you can take B. Com there are not too much opportunity or scope in B. Com

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The addmission process is pretty complex. You need to register on chancellor portal of kolhan university the fees is not high it is 7000 per semester + exam fees you can opt for scholarship from NSP Or E kalyan. E kalyan is only for minority and NSP can be filled by every one.

Campus Life

The campus life is not so good. There no fest are conducted on college. But celebration of freshers and farewell are done. There are many clubs in colleges like carrom club, science club, etc. There is also rotract club. There are no sports events are conducted.

Admission

There is no any cut off you can directly take addmission through chancellor portal you need minimum 45% in 12th irrespective of any branch. Exams are not conducted timely sometime it tooks a year to conduct the exams. If the addmission process will be simple it would be beneficial for students.

Teachers are good they are pretty good and highly qualified some have done PHD in their subject but classes are not so much interactive teachers are not so much interactive in the class but faculties are very supportive and if u have any problem you can take help from them

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

Life at karim city college jamshedpur

Actually I applied only for this college because it is nearer from my home and actually this college is quite famous in my hometown and i didn't apply in another college because this is kolhan university and the education is good in this college. Karim City College. An Affordable Option for Mass Comm Aspirants

The most important factor was the affordability compared to other colleges including within-state colleges as well as Inter-State colleges. Also, the Faculty was very inclusive as I took last-minute admissions and they were happy to take me in. The admission process was fairly easy they took the mandatory marksheets of Std 10th and 12th also the Aadhar Card and Parental Details and the fees were paid in Cash. Later after the payments I was provided with the prospectus and Other Information.
