Things to look forward in Doon University

I wanted to learn about the business world thus chose this course Our curriculum also includes classes of case studies thus it prepare us for what is in the real world. Improvements could be done in making the classes more interactive.

Yearly: Rs.74,400 Tuition fees : 30,000 caution fees : 5,000 (One time & refundable) Other fees : 7,000 admission fees :2,000(one time) Admissions are taken through entrance examination. Scholarships are as follows: State and central government Scholarship Sc/st/obc scholarships Merit cum means scholarships Girl child scholarships Financial aid

University does organize fests for all students, not a lot , usually holi and diwali fest. Others are more department centered functions. These are available to all the students most of the time. The library is really a plus in this university because it's big and easily accessible. Smart boards , wifi etc are provided. University also focuses on sports and extra curriculum ,having a variety of sport clubs. I have seen social work around the campus like blood donations , clothing donations, etc.

I chose the college due to the calm and positive environment. I applied to other colleges but not for the same course. I didn’t make it into that college because of the high cutoff. Students are accepted through an entrance exam as well as walk-in in some cases.

Don't know about the ratio but the faculty is very approachable. Relationships between students and faculty is really good as well. Dr. Rajiv sir is the faculty member I like the most. There isn't anyone who I didn't liked. Our course includes mid and final term exams in every semester. The exams are properly handled ,as the faculty members teach really good.
