Best in class!!

The overall experience was very good, could have been better but no regrets. I learned a lot, I am in a much better place and I am a good physiotherapist because of the faculty, training, and learnings of Banarsidass Chandiwala Institute of Physiotherapy.

Also, the curriculum brings the best out of you. The hands-on training and OPD exposures are very useful for the independent handling of the patients in the future. The exam system is like that of the school, 2 or 3 internal examinations and then 1 final University exam every year!!

The college doesn't provide an internship. You have to search for it on your own. The process involves visiting various hospitals and going through their screening process to crack the internship program. The overall experience was good and learning. There is nothing such as stipend until it's in hospital's policies, college doesn't give you any stipends.

The college has its own Job and Placements Cell managed by the college administration. They provide various opportunities and conduct interviews with the various hospitals and setups in their knowledge.

The college held various programs throughout the year like the Annual day, Diwali Mela, freshers party, farewell party, convocation, and various other conferences, workshops, and seminars. The college also conducts visits to prosthetic workshops. Also an annual out of station trip is organized every year.

The fee structure is both feasible and expensive at times. The college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university so it half govt and half private. They have their own fee structure.

I have no idea about the scholarship/loan facility offered by my college. I didn't avail any of them neither heard about it from any of the students. But this can be introduced as it is a good step towards the initiative "education for all".

The college infrastructure is to be given 5 out of 5. Well equipped labs, OPDs, and everything. Just needs a good canteen so that students can enjoy a good time. The facility of college buses can also be included for students as it would be easier.

The alumni and senior students are always the saviors for the juniors, they impart their experiences, their books, their skeleton sets and ideas to handle the situation to their juniors which is highly beneficial. Juniors can anytime look up to the seniors for the advice.

I got into this college after passing an entrance exam n scoring a spot on the merit list!! This college was my first preference as it was and still is the best college of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. After I joined I realized why it is ranked as no.1.

The faculty of the college is the best part!! They try to impart all the knowledge they have. They help you out in academics, OPDs, patient assessment, patient handling or be it your issues. Faculty is very helpful and learned.
