Remarks

This college is offering physiotherapy course and I wanted to enroll in a career which involves patient care so due to this sole reason I chose this college. According to your rank in the entrance exam you get to choose the college and course you want to enroll yourself into. The good aspect is that this college is quite known and students from this college has stronger basic knowledge but you don't really feel like college as it is quite disciplinary.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is fine but you need to involve yourself more into it to get the best out of you and faculty members are quite good but you need to take more interest to learn or gain knowledge. I wanted to serve and work in hospital or clinic so I chose this course. Ratio is fine like how you expect in Indian colleges. Teaching method of essaying practical is good but it varies from faculty to faculty. So this college offers yearly exam and in between a year student would be having 2 internal exams which is easy to pass if you study regularly.

Internships Opportunities

3

So there is no stipend during the internship and you have to apply in the hospital for internship by yourself only. College would not help you finding the hospital for internship

Placement Experience

3

No there is no campus placement so you have to search for your job all by yourself you can work in hospitals, clinics, MNCs or you can start your own clinic as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Earlier it was 75k per year but now the fees has increased and its approx. 85k per year although it can be vary, student EWS can apply for scholarship. As the fees was hiked recently so it wont b hiked soon. Earlier there was no campus selection but now some MNC n clinical head come for placements but it started from last year only its not a regular thing in this college. You have to search for the job all by yourself

Campus Life

3

So the social life is not very happening in this college but there are few social activities you can indulge in events like sports, annual function Diwali function etc.

Interview Experience

3

Yes there was written test to get admission in this college but you don't have to give any interview. Once you pass the written test you get some rank and if you have good rank you will get admission easily. From NCERT books only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum initially provides all the theoretical and practical knowledge side by side. As in first year classes are held in University college of medical science so practical we got demonstration of human anatomy on cadavers . And the subsequent 2nd, 3rd and 4th year classes are held in Amar Jyoti as the syllabus of these years provide you proper insights of your field Side by side in 3rd and 4th year we do clinical postings in different hospitals and in Amar Jyoti where we see real world applications i.e. hands on patients under the guidance of senior physiotherapist who are our professors also. First year is quite tough compare with other years as overall syllabus is just same as of MBBS . Areas of improvement - should be in syllabus I think as in first year we were somewhat clueless about our real role in PT as there were no PT specific subjects .

Student's become eligible from 4th year only for the campus placements. It's not the companies or the hospitals that visits for placement it's the NGO's and all that comes and provide basic salaries to students. Highest packages can go upto - 1200000 per annum or average to 400000 per annum. 70-80% students get's placements and other starts there home visits or own clinic. My plans is to work for 2 year in any hospital in india and then move to dubai for future opportunities.
