Course Curriculum Overview

Its an excellent course , you get to work in various fields provided such as sports , pediatrics, etc. Real world experiments are conducted in labs. The internals are conducted withing the campus and the centre is moved when annual exams are conducted.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 142000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1st Year fee - 142900 No scholarships for general category students. Hostel provided within the campus with extra charger of around 18000 which includes food, a room and a few other services . Fee will be a little less in the coming years.

Campus Life

The college is very close to the metro. The campus is huge, which includes a hospital, several OPD's, a canteen , a field shared by two other colleges. There are Quite a lot of sports such as cricket football, badminton volleyball, etc. There are also many clubs in which you can take part such as Eco club ,sports club ,entertainment club ,NSS, etc.

Admission

I chose this college because it has a better overall rating, better faculty, better teaching. This was my first preference college and is the top college for BPT under IPU. You have to give an entrance exam called CET that is taken by IPU. Once you qualify for the counseling you have to fill the preferences under which I chose this college as my first preference.

Faculty

The faculty are all professionals having a medical degree in there fields. Examination pattern: 2 internals and 1 annual Exam No semester pattern. Lab sessions and theory classes are regularly conducted.

Night Life

There is a hostel that is within the college campus which includes a Mess and the last timing is around 10 o'clock. There are quite a places to hang around such as the lotus temple road, mini food stalls , gyms , food corners, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum initially provides all the theoretical and practical knowledge side by side. As in first year classes are held in University college of medical science so practical we got demonstration of human anatomy on cadavers . And the subsequent 2nd, 3rd and 4th year classes are held in Amar Jyoti as the syllabus of these years provide you proper insights of your field Side by side in 3rd and 4th year we do clinical postings in different hospitals and in Amar Jyoti where we see real world applications i.e. hands on patients under the guidance of senior physiotherapist who are our professors also. First year is quite tough compare with other years as overall syllabus is just same as of MBBS . Areas of improvement - should be in syllabus I think as in first year we were somewhat clueless about our real role in PT as there were no PT specific subjects .

Amar Jyoti institute of physiotherapy is one the best college for bachelor degree in physiotherapy

Course Curriculum Overview:

Syllabus or course curriculum includes everything you should know as a good physiotherapist. Faculty teach you theoretical aspect of every condition or procedures, after the completion of theoretical classes there are practical classes to strengthen and increase knowledge about that particular topic or technique or procedure. Also college includes clinical postings for 1 year. 6 month in 3rd year and next 6 month in 4th year of course in which they send you to different hospital opds and ipds to see different conditions and learn new techniques to treat patients effectively. So overall curricular activities prepare you in very good and effective manner to treat the patients of different conditions

Placement Experience:

Student's become eligible from 4th year only for the campus placements. It's not the companies or the hospitals that visits for placement it's the NGO's and all that comes and provide basic salaries to students. Highest packages can go upto - 1200000 per annum or average to 400000 per annum. 70-80% students get's placements and other starts there home visits or own clinic. My plans is to work for 2 year in any hospital in india and then move to dubai for future opportunities.

Best college for physiotherapy in Delhi NCR

The admission process is extremely easy. Admissions are done through a common entrance test regulated and administered by GGSIP University. Students applying should have subjects PCB with English . Minimum percentile required for applying is 55%.
