College Review

My only negative remark about college is that it requires an infrastructural development which is must and Libraries had to be more developed and upgraded to the latest version of the time. The positive thing is the staff of the college and students that are very much dedicated towards cleanness drive.

Merit List

My opinions on curriculum are very appreciable to the college staff as there are not only good teachers available but the use of latest technology projectors lectures seminars and discussions are very good. The subjects are taught up to the mark with proper syllabus completion.

Yes. The college provides the opportunity to get an internship in various reputed organizations of the state. I was an intern at J&K Bank Ltd and my experience in that organization was good and the stipend was given.

Honestly speaking there are no higher opportunities of getting placements because of low companies coming to the college for providing jobs to the freshers. The college organizes some great events where companies come to provide a job. I remember last time came to Jio and Vodafone companies there for placements.

The college organizes various programs such as Kashmiri culture program Environmental day Traffic week Science day Alama Iqbal conference Mehjoor event Teachers day event And many programs that are going on throughout the year.

Fee structure of the college was very feasible that every student was easy to pay fees and many scholarship schemes are also provided there which gives monetary assistance to the financially poor background students.

I know about the Post Matric scholarship that college offers to the students under which financially poor background students are provided funds for their education. The fees of the students are paid by the scholarship that is eligible for that.

Extracurricular activities of the college are good. They organize tournaments of cricket volleyball kho-kho kabbadi and many other games. As far as labs are concerned as a commerce student I was practicing in computer labs that are really well maintained and latest.

Hostel facilities of the college are nice but not the best one. I can say that they have to work more on the infrastructure of the hostel buildings and provide the required services to students. Rooms of the college hostel need to be painted and Ac is a must.

Yes, the senior students are very helpful providing every guidance and help that juniors are needed in the college. As a student of this college, I feel really safe and blessed to be among such great guys who motivate to make good preparations for future

Exam structure of the college is very strictly executed as per the dates issued by them. It is really good that the exams are conducted in proper discipline, Control, and peaceful environment. The results are made available on time there.

Firstly I had applied through an online application form that is made available on Kashmir university website. After uploading all my documents of education for the merit selection process. I was selected in that merit list as my 12th class marks percentage was 80 %. After 10 days of the admission process, I joined the college.

Faculty of the college is very good in teaching and assessing their students but the only thing that I suggest to be changed is too frequent changes in respective teachers of each subject. Otherwise, the faculty is really working hard.
