Course Curriculum Overview

As i have always been someone who admired the medical field i always dreamt of becoming one where i can take pride in my job There are real life experiences which you dont get to see behind the curtains pf medical field no one prepares you for that the hustle bustle how one wrong choice can make the life of the patient difficult so you have to work meticulously and there is no excuse for mistakes the teacher use lecture methods demonstrate the procedure and use project and slideshare tp teach

Internships Opportunities

2.5

For internships they post us in satya sai hospital and for 20 of the students and 80% goes to manipal hospital based on results 20 % of the students are like toppers or high rankers of the class there is no means pf tramsportation from college so you have to go by yourself and it can be expensive for students to travel everyday There are assignments tons of them which we have to take from our real life cases from hospitald

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year i paid 1 lakh 50k in total My batch mates who got into college via scholarship pay 30-40 k yearly There are many scholarship schemes like Karnataka board scholarship central government scholarships and state government scholarships etc

Campus Life

3

Campus is full of greenery and located in a little isolated area away from city. As a nursing student you do not get to roam Around the campus as much as there is scheduling and studies but it is good there is always a big event in college like a fest called the element 7 which is huge and fun little break for college students and library is like a room full of books which isn't that big but is good enough

Admission

I picked this college as for experiencing life in bangalore and gett Our of my shell and become more independent and it has made me become better in interaction and making new friends from other parts of india and learn different cultures and traditions. I was connected to a broker from my state from Sikkim where he had done everything for me and i had to submit my files and documents and deposit money and pay fees to him

Faculty

2.5

There is 20- 25 faculties in my department and some are old teachers who do not consider the students feelings but some are bery helpful and will teach everything There is yearly exam for our batch 2021-25 where by the end of the year we have to write rghus university exam . This whole exam is based quantitative wise where bigger the answer the more marks you get almost 50% of the class gets failed and retake the exam next year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects that made me choose this course : The course has strong clinic focus. It gives early ward postings and lab skill training. The mix of theory and clinical work made me choos it. The course gives hands-on skill in wards and lab. We learn case study, care plan and drug chart. It also improves our critical thinking skills during intervention. Areas to improve : More skill lab time can be added. More demo with new tech will help. More group talk snd case based learn can imrpove study. There are 2 internal exams each sem and one final exam. Exams are fair and needed daily study. They are not very hard if we prepare well.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.
