Bhavana P Rajeev's Review On Toc H Institute Of Science And Technology - [TIST], Ernakulam

Remarks :

Everything is fine there is nothing to tell that is bad, everything is managed Fyn and inexperienced hands

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and exactly based on the ktu norms... The faculties present are the best and have the capability to guide you in the right path

Placement Experience :

The placement that we currently got is the best placement the college has received till date... I am a person who got placed in 4 companies and one of them is IBM.

College Events :

The main event that each and every student in Toch awaits is for ADVAY which is an intercollegiate cultural fest that the college hosts... And is one of the most prestigious events in Kerala... Apart from that, we have dept fest, cultural fest, sports day and many more

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I got admission into the merit seat so I had to pay the fee that had to mandatorily paid to the college by every student and other expenses like bus fee uniform books... All this made it to a sum of around 1lakh for the 1st Year and then it decreased to 90000 during the second year and a further more decrease in the coming year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I did not avail any scholarship

Campus Life :

Everything was good we have quite a lot of activities in our college... Many clubs are highly active and dept fests are where the technical side of the students are exposed

Alumni/Alumna :

Our seniors have helped us a lot gave us a lot of support throughout our ventures

Admission :

I am a person who got into rajagiri as well as Toch but I choose Toch over Rajagiri because Toch felt more like a college it had that atmosphere in it and many of my cousins also referred it to me... The admission process is quite easy you will get all the details once you visit the college

Faculty :

If the mark is out of 10... Then my dept electronics and communication engineering dept faculties will be given 10/10 by me. They the best you can get and once you are under them trust me you will be in safer hands

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
