Remarks

It is a big University so there are some negative things as well as some positive things about the college. There's always some room to get better. University should definitely work upon the admission criteria, and it should take its own test as a qualifying test so that the quality of the student would be good. the management is really good and the faculties are good as well and if the student is sincere enough he will get a good career after he passes out from the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My personal Opinion is that the course curriculum is really wide and it is so much wide that "it had not to be". But at the same time, there are a few subjects that don't sound that important but if you think about it, they really are. Like for example, ETHICS is a course that doesn't sound important at all but seeing around me, my own classmates, I strongly feel that ETHICS is one of the most important courses and must be pursued with the most sincerity. And on the other hand, there were some subjects that don't ring a lot of bells.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college does provide internship, but with a negative stipend. Yeah, that's right we have to pay a particular amount do "what is named A INTERNSHIP" but is really just another course that we study in summer. There is no practical knowledge they give. It's just some more work on pen and paper with the only difference that we don't have to give any exams for the certificate.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements depend on student to student. Now, what am I trying to say here, right? The university gives the best facilities possible but it depends upon the student how well he uses them. The college brings in a lot of major companies for placements and a lot of people do get placed but at the same time a lot of people don't get placed but we must keep in mind that both the categories got the resources, one thrived and one didn't. So it solemnly depends upon the student if he'll get placed or not. And to conclude the college does give the best placement facilities.

College Events

3.5

There are two events that happen in a calendar year at the university : I - Dandiya Nights: It is celebrated in an immense manner with a DJ and students dress traditionally and it is usually planned in the odd semester. II - Moonstone: It is a three-day event and these three days is broken an s follows: The day I - All the students from the University form groups and organize different programs which are really fun and they charge a nominal fee of participation. The day II - A fashion show is there in which students walk through the ramp and auditions for the same are conducted some days before the event. The Day III - DJ Night - A DJ is invited and a celebrity too, and it is the most fun day of the moonstone.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is really feasible and they give the best possible resources possible at that fee. The first year fee is around 90k. We have to pay somewhere around 50k during the first semester and the remaining during the second. The second-year fee is around 80k. We have to pay around 45k during the third semester and the remaining during the forth. The same goes for a third and fourth year. We have to pay the bus fee if we opt bus as a transportation medium.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know of any loan facilities if my college people are offering. And I am not using any college scholarship. There is just the regular scholarship for the OBC and the SC ST and the minority people in which the college helps as much as it can to get.

Campus Life

4

There are a lot of extracurricular activities that go on around for the whole year. They have a lot of small events on the beach usually something is advertised or information is given to the students about their career. There is an entrepreneur cell which helps students to understand entrepreneurship. There is a sports week in the college during which students from different streams make their own teams and participate in different sports. The University is not participating at professional levels as for now but the management says that it is going to play at professional levels in all sports soon.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I am a not hosteller but I do have went to my friends' room and I have seen how they live. So I am just going to describe what I have seen. the infrastructure is not that good but there are water coolers on every floor and three people share a particular room and the hostel for boys and girls are different and hostel for girls is on the other hand of the university and the hostel for boys is on one hand. I have never used the washroom so I cannot describe it but I have seen the building from outside they look pretty good. Australia celebrates all the festivals so as to not feel away from home that is pretty cool. The food in the mess is not as good as I am told by my friends. They say that they prefer eating outside.

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful if you ask them for help. I don't have a lot of experience in that way because I really don't have asked anyone yet for any help. but I have seen that they are really positive people and they always look forward to helping.

Exam Structure

Exam structure well maintained and prime importance is given to conductance buy fair means. University conducts three exams in a semester: I - Mid Semester One (includes the first two units of the syllabus). II - Mid Semester Two (includes a third and fourth unit of the syllabus). III - Final Exam (includes the whole syllabus). IV - Practical Examination (includes exams of the practice done throughout the semester). I, II, and III are theoretical exams. IV is a combination of performing the practical, writing about the practical performed and a viva about the practical.

Admission

Admission Process Steps: I: Medicaps give admission on the basis of Mains Score or a management seat which is two-three times more costly. II: We have to submit our mains score along with our top three priorities of the field of Engineering. III: They give us a date around which they tell us what are the university's cut-offs for different engineering fields. We do have to submit a bunch of other things with the admission form which is dynamic and change every year. IV: If you scored well then you'll probably get your stream of choice but if you don't have a GOOD MAINS SCORE than you have the following two options: A: You get a management seat. B: You just visit the admission cell again and request for the stream you require, and you must do this several times, and the management might give you a seat. And it's not a bluff, it works, I have seen people doing the same.

Faculty

4.5

It is a fact that in a university as big as ours, there will be some bad, some good, some very bad, and some very good faculties. And as far as I have seen the faculties try and give their best. But the main problem is with the students. I think that faculties are sincere and are usually really good at what they do. There are a few who are not as good but it's like a drop in a bucket.
