What Students Say
Likes
- First the thing I like the most was the training classes that they provide early morning from 5:00 a.m. to almost 9:00 a.m. that make the students industry ready. They give you extensive training beyond the course in order to get you a more succ
- Another thing which I really like is the faculty staff. All the faculty is trained well and studied from well reputed colleges. Their methods of teaching are also very interactive and helpful.
- Another thing which I like is the infrastructure of the college. The college is equipped with various computer labs and lecture halls. There are proper labs for the students of other streams as well. There are three buildings dedicated to LIET.
Course Curriculum Overview
Lloyd is under the AKTU university which is a government university in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It follows the curriculum provided by that University which is pretty much sufficient for a b.tech computer science graduate and enough to fetch him job in the industry.
Internships Opportunities
Last year 13 students got paid internships in the third year with a startup company. They were getting fairly paid and the college were proud of the students. The management leaves no stone unturned in placing students.
Placement Experience
Yes placement is provided by my college and the third year which is headed by Mr Rajiv Agarwal and Mr Rao is achieving great height by getting placed in some of the top IT companies full stop this is all possible because of the placement team which is well connected to the industry and brings in lots and lots of opportunities. There is also technical training provided early in the morning to make students industry ready.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course fees is rupees 151000 it is the same for the next bat also that is the 24 to 28 batch. There are certain scholarship also available for people who scored great person tiles in JEE and their board exams. Details can be fetched from the college. There are also special scholarship for girls. I also availled one of them but you get that only if you score more than 80% in PCM in your class 12th board exams. Well this is my fees and rest of the details for b.tech CSE course stream for other streams like electronics engineering or electrical engineering or VLSI the fees is quite lesser. My college also provided a laptop to the first year students and the cost of that was included in the fee structure. I consider this college pretty much affordable in comparison to the rest of the colleges in greater Noida.
Campus Life
Campus life in Lloyd institute of engineering and technology might not be as enthrilling as the rest of the colleges that you see but it is good enough for an engineering student. Last year Lloyd group of institutions organised catalyst 2.0 where the chief guest were Darshan Raval, Anubhav Singh Bassi and Nizami Bandhu. The event was a big success with a lot of people gathering to celebrate an enjoy. There or other sports and extra curricular activities taking place like singing poetry drawing dancing kite flying etc.
Hostel Facilities
The college also provides a hostel inside the campus and one hostel outside the campus for girls and one hostel for boys called Aryan residency. It is all managed by the Lloyd group of institutions. Aryan residency is a five star residency with almost all facilities like that in a hotel. The in campus hostels for girls are also fairly nice. The food menu is good and it feels homely. Induction and kettles are provided as well full stop currently the fees for AC rooms is 160000 + 10000 security and for non AC rooms is 145000 + 10000 security which will be return on completion of the stay in hostel. There are triple quad and double seater rooms available. The boys hostel is totally air conditioned with only double and triple rooms. For the boys hostel there is a bus service connecting the hostel to the college.
Admission
I chose Lloyd institute of engineering and technology because it is headed by Mr Rajiv Agarwal as senior director and Mr L.N Rao as the Dean. They are two of the most influential people in greater Noida and bring in a lot of opportunities for the college with the connections that they have along with the placement team which is connected to all the industries and generates ample placement opportunities. To enroll in the college you must have more than 75% in PCM for provisional admission. Admission can also take place with the help of JEE percentile. There are multiple scholarships which are also offered by the college depending on your marks in JEE and boards.
Faculty
There is sufficient faculty in the college for every student in the BTech department. In my first year Ms Sheeba Khan, the chemistry teacher Mr Rakesh Mohan my physics teacher Mr Mukesh Kumar my mechanical engineering teacher Mr Manoj Vishwakarma my electronics engineering teacher, Ms Angella were amonyg the favourite teachers for their best teaching styles.
