Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is strictly based on the NMC CBME rule. The course is very good, and very precisely planned for the training of a good doctors in India. The course prepares the students for real life problems. The clinical practice is top notch, and students will going to get exposure of many different clinical cases. The exams are held quite regularly, making and maintaining the momentum of Students for study.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship will be mandatory in your own college only, after 4.5 years of study. The internship is of 12 months. The stipend is also very decent during the internship compares to other private medical colleges, sometimes they don't pay you any money during internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

So, the over all fees for the whole course is :- 70,00,000 ( approx ) . The yearly tution fees :- 11,70,612 Hostel fees :- 1,50,000 ( non AC ), 1,75,000 ( AC) Miscellaneous fees :- 85,600 Examination fees :- 50,000 ( it is a type of hidden fees as it is not government mandated in Uttar Pradesh ). Security money :- 3,00,000 ( refundable) ( one time ) Books and apron is your own cost, college will not provide it, it will provide apron by paying the amount for that. This is the only fees that college will ask you. There is no category wise fees structure, fees is same for all. And also there is not increment policy for fees , the fees would remain same for you for the whole course. There is no scholarship or financial aid available by the college, although you can apply for student loan at your own personal intrest.

Campus Life

5

The annual function is RYTHM, it is held in November or December every year. It is a 5 days extravaganza and festival comprises of sports, cultural and inter college meet. The library is air conditioned state of the art library with more than 50,000 e-books and digital journals available and also hardcopy books are available more than 10,000.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are quite standard hostels, quite good. College provide you one bed, cupboards, table, chair and one mattress. The mess food is good in quality but in terms of variety and taste they are so so, not too bad and not too good.

Admission

My first priority in the counseling was this college, as it is near to my home and also there is almost no hidden fees. And also because there is no increment policy for the fees.. The admission process is very smooth and the college management will support you at every level. They will be available to you 24*7 until your admission gets done smoothly.

Faculty

4.5

So, the facilities here are top notch and fully experienced doctors who are from top government colleges like KGMC, The facilities are highly accessible at all the times, it's like you will be having the phone number of HOD herself/himself. Faculty to student ratio is good, every department has 5,6 professors and 3,4 tutors and also PG residents (JR). Part completion test are held almost every month, and proper assessment is done thoroughly by both written and practical exams. Terminal exams are held. And also pre professional exams are also held one month before professor exams. The level of exams are quite good and they will make you feel the professional exams are easy in front of them.

Other Applied Colleges

Tezpur University - [TU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] + Master of Science [M.Sc] (Life Sciences)

Because I thought that I will not take admission in private medical college, and I will go to this university as a backup option

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose it to be a good doctor. There are even 2-3 faculties in departments for 150 students so, in some it's bad. Some of the faculties are excellent in teaching but again many of them are slide readers. We have 2 terminal exams at the end of 3 months and a pre-university before the University exam.

Remarks:

The College is okay, for the students who focus on studies. They can easily glide through the test without worrying about anything else. The only problem is the college being so far from the city with just a highway in front of it. The nearest town is Ghaziabad which is ½ hour away. Can be easily reached by tempo or bus which frequents the hospital.
