Honest review after experiencing my life alone in Bangalore nift

My course is of knitwear design and i chose these course since it was the closest similar course compared to fashion design, but now I feel choosing knitwear was the good decision and since I'm specialising in lingerie I feel really good about how the subject is been taught with a broad mind and other subjects are also good but again every student has its favourite in the end of the sem .

They're always so many internship opportunities always make a portfolio and it will lead you to get internship easily, you can work outside college as well as an intern for other companies they pay you has well and it's actually easier to find job even when your in college . They're n number of people doing internship right now while studying sem 1, 2,3,4,5,6 and the actual internship that is important to do is in the 8sem that college has.

So the average placement offers offered is 6LPA and and highest is 12LPA in Bangalore and 85% placement rate and more details about placement and companies that come include puma , nike , adidas , Reebok, and more for sports wear and I don't know much about lingerie placements but I'll get to know soon .

Okay , so the fees doesn't increase or decrease and the fee is paid sem wise (every 6months) so it's almost 2,00,000 per sem and these include the tuition fees n everything , if you opted for hostel than you have to register for that seperately and I'm not sure how exactly is hostel fees since it varies. And people in NRI reservation there fees varies a lot and have to pay much more than us ( these information will be provided in nift page ) . Concerned about the scholarship? Than there is a schemes and more since it's a government college also has scholarship for people other than general category.

So , choosing good loyal friends is very important in the college especially when your living in hostel or rented houses with roommates or alone , you'll always need a shoulder to lay on and support you and plays a major role in overall experience in the college no matter what department they're in but be friends with everybody too don't hold grudges and all . There are club activities too that includes cultural, sports , photography, social media, social ethics, environment . You can choose any club you want and it's always the students handling the clubs so it's free to give ideas to your club president or secretary. Okay I wanted fashion design in Bangalore itself but i didn't get since my rank was not that much but my second option was knitwear Bangalore since I like the weather a lot and don't prefer hot places and since I'm a South Indian Bangalore was the closest to my hometown and I've heard that Bangalore has good placements and faculty with experience.

Every sem we have 6-7 subjects and also the class strength is 42 something. And the faculty teach the subjects that they've been working on or have done it in the industry which leads to more understanding of reality of the fashion industry. Within a sem we have 2 assignments (30 marks each) and 1 jury (40 marks) total 100 and to pass one has to score more than 50% and attendance also is a major role since the percentage is been considered to check a student can attend the particular subject since the attendance is session wise for each subject . One who has less than 75% in a subject cannot attend jury and might have to give rejury or get a carry forward(repeat subject ) if less than 65% .
