The new cbme pattern that is competancy based medical education is thoroughly followed in the college and they look into the fact that everyone is average or more than average in academics to make us good doctors Internals as mentioned priorly are taken in gap of 3 months Theory taught in class is aided by practicals for hands on learning

Campus Life

3.5

People here are good but as every college here too you need to adjust if you are living in hostel because accommodating to new place and people takes time Social life is hampered a little because college is far from the main city so we are kind of cut from outside world Our library has a good number and varieties of educational books College also focuses on all extracurricular activities hemce all festivals are celebrated along with one grand fest name vihaan

Admission

Neet exam is to be given to take admission into this college. According to your rank you will be alloted to this college. Admission procedure includes basic enrolling into nta counselling process and you will be alloted college on basis of marks and rank in neet ie national eligibility enterance test You need to visit college with documents to secure your seat I applied to medical college in mumbai, talegaon too but because of less marks wasnt given a seat

Faculty

4

Faculty quality depends on each department Some of them are dedicated teachers others we think need a little more experience and new techniques to implement Hospital posting education is very good we get to see patients and study Library is also a hood place to study in campus. Two internal exams are taken and one prelim exam before university exam is taken each year. Weekly tests which help us to see where we stand are also taken Postend exams after each clinical posting are taken in form of viva and spotters Faculty is easy to approach and readily help on everything.they are polite too

The course is standard for all MBBS courses. There are theory lectures and practical classes. Hospital exposure begins in the second year onwards. Current revisions in the course like introduction of logbook etc are unnecessary and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is definately a tough course. along with being tough, it also puts some responsibilities on your shoulders as you will be treating real people with real problems in the real world as you complete this course. while studying, students should focus more on 'why' and 'how' type questions than 'what' type of questions. the major exams are conducted in 9 semesters . each semester is of 6 months + 1 year of compulsary internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current curriculum is comprehensive based curriculum. Here practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge. So now spending more time in wards is of greater importance. Exams are held accordingly - 2 internals, 1 prilims and 1 University held by MUHS. Each exam is followed by practical examination. This curriculum will help to build good doctors rather than bookish doctors.
