Remarks

The faculty is top class. They use various methods to deliver lectures and ensure an understanding of each subject. There are resources for learning, well-equipped labs, hospital with patient experience. The campus, too, is an additional benefit, with a peaceful environment. I enrolled in 2018, based on my SMR on merit. I got in the first round itself and chose to retain, due to positive reviews from ex-students. The college has a website, armch.org, with updates and an insight into the college affairs. Also, during the period of CoVID, the college staff meticulously uploaded video lectures for the students to benefit from.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Each subject has 1 head and an average of 3 associate professors, so the students are free to ask doubts, which are promptly cleared. Faculty is well qualified, some having had experience in GMCs too. Term exams are fair, with appropriate important, and relevant questions. Apart from these, weekly tests are held, for the benefit of the students.

Internships Opportunities

3

The internship is offered, the house as well as transferrable. The patient count is mediocre, hence a small variety of cases can be explored by the interns. The hospital is well equipped and that's a plus. The stipend is not offered.

Placement Experience

3.5

Campus placements do not exist in MBBS.A fairly large percentage of the students who pass out from the college end up in esteemed institutions, though.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are INR 10 lakh per year, with a 10% increase per year, A con is that the management chose to procure fees for hostel and mess facilities even during the Lockdown, even though none of the students used these.

Campus Life

4

The campus is peaceful, green, and well maintained. The annual fest is Vihaan, held every February, with various events that give a chance to the budding doctors to showcase their talents in various arenas, including literary, sports, cultural. Classrooms are well equipped with a mic system and the professors are audible to the class. Projectors are used for displaying important material on the screens. The ACS, unfortunately, does not work.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms are spacious, with two students in each room. Running water is for two hours per day only, an inconvenience to many. The rooms are cleaned biweekly, by trained and polite staff. The mess quality, for food, is not very good. Most students opt to eat outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is standard for all MBBS courses. There are theory lectures and practical classes. Hospital exposure begins in the second year onwards. Current revisions in the course like introduction of logbook etc are unnecessary and time consuming.
