Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I had always dreamt of being a doctor. It fascinates me when I think of how a human hand is capable of giving life to the one suffering. This degree changes life eternally, Though it is very difficult..it will all be worth at the end

Internships Opportunities

2

After 4 years of crossing the hardship called exams...comes the OG year Internship.. Which is for about 1 and a half year.. Where you'll have to work for Major departments like Surgery Medicine obs gynae paediatrics and minor departments such as ENT ophthalmology CM. For a very low pay about 600 rupees per month

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fees for Mbbs in this college is 1,52000 for govt Private- 10,92,000 Management- 98 lakh Sc/st- 500 per year Student loan is provided by KMDC of about 5lakh rupees which has to be repayed after the completion of degree NSP and SSP scholarships provided only to selected students.

Campus Life

3

It's rare when a medical colleges enjoys fests and celebrations. In our college we celebrate Only 3 occasions 1- Graduation ceremonies 2- sport meets 3- rajyotsava day Apart from this there are no other functions celebrated Our college has a good and strong sports team with respect to each activity and has also won many zonals

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel infrastructure is quite poor. The rooms haven't been painted over years and are too old. Hygiene must be strictly maintained.. The washrooms are filled with lizards at times and are unclean Rest, the environment outside is chill.

Admission

I had been allotted the college by kea. I had applied at almost all the colleges in Bangalore as I wanted my education to happen at my home town itself. But sadly, due to high cut off or maybe that I couldn't wait till the last round...I chose this college

Faculty

1.5

Our batch holds a strength of about 160 students including the repeaters We have 3 departments and each department has about 6-7 teachers. Some faculties are helpful while the others work more on stressing our mental health. I believe there has to be a good communication which lacks at times We have 3 internals in which students find difficult to pass where hardly few pass. Final exam at the end of the year which is also very difficult and only a few pass.

Since I had an inclination towards making medicine as a career I opted for MBBS course in this college. The reason for choosing this college is best in our area (Hoskote). Sat for the NEET exam and cleared it. Marks were good enough so got the college in 3rd of counseling. I also gave AIIMS and JIPMER exam as well.
