Course Curriculum Overview
Especially for this ciriculam they gave us better foundations of all the needed topics in ECE which can lead to taking a masters on the specific topic. when it comes to VSLI -they gave a full-fledged path Front end subjects - FPGA-based Design, RISC design using Verilog, Computer Architecture. Back end subjects - VLSI design, VLSI fabrication. Teaching is overall ok and self-learning is important in this college more
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides internship oppurtunities also we have to do an internship in SEM 8. A few companies are: (per month stipend and roles are not mentioned during internship) Synopsys - 40k Havels - 25k Caterpillar - 20k Projects Especially in ECE are good comparatively good for Intership Interview

From Sem 7 students are eligible to sit for placements Atlassian - 1 Microsoft - 1 Heighest package - 54lpa (Microsoft) & lowest - 4.25 lpa(TCS,IBM) I am doing my M.Tech in VLSI and Embedded Systems in IIIT Delhi.

Campus Life
There is an event called VIDYUT annual event of 3 days it involves all tech and cultural events. and every festival they celebrate like Onam, pongal, holi, Diwali etc. Library is decent we can except a good number of books which is sufficient for ECE student for BTech and MTech level. and publuications also we are accessed to IEEE, springer etc. In class room there is projector, and two whith board with marker and speakrs are installed so overall its decent, but benches are not that good. There are few teams for all kinds of sports , so they actually participate in different comptions also. there is club called AAYUSH which focuses on self improvement interms of bothe health and helping nature which conducts few events like "CLEAN UP DRIVE" at the coastal sea area like that.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room are good with 4 beds in one room and a bolcony outside and four common bathrooms for one floor. There is wifi connection in hostels too with speed around 10 mbps. Hostel food is like more regional as it is in kerala so we feel some discomfort in food. Regestration for hostel can be done along with admission process. Yes there are few PG's available for one month pay basis (arounf 8 to 9k per month) including food.
Admission
Admission process is based on the two exams : (50% reservation for state-local students) a) AEEE - campus own exam (cutoff for ECE - around 2000 rank*) b) JEE mains. I got 95 percentile in JEE mains and i joined thorugh JEE mains only and admission process is so smooth and easy. I applied for other colleges like only NITs and IITs, but based on my intrest in ECE i couldnt bale to get there and i got here.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio - 1 : 40 (approx) Geethu Rs ( Digital Electronics) - She has good understanding in Digital electronics and VLSI front end. SEM (for all ) Internal marks - 30 (Assignment - 15, quizzes -15) External marks - 70 ( Midsem - 20, Endsem - 50) And for a few subjects based on the project consideration mark distribution will change.
