The exposure of hospital visits with dietitian and specialised doctors
College staff is very supportive and understanding

Dislikes

Fees are very high for this course comparative to other colleges
Completes the portion very late and do not share the syllabus for the same

Course Curriculum Overview

The hospital visits, ward rounds and OPD with specialised doctors and dietitians. External faculty lectures made me choose this course and up till I'm having a great learning experience with less work load. Though there should be an improvement in Last minute piling of assignments and internal assessment, also they should share the syllabus with the students.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The yearly fees is 90000 and not worth paying such huge amount because for thesis and stuff you got to pay all the expenses for your research guide, statistician and ethical committee as well. Though this college gives you good exposure of hospital visit with dietitians and external faculty.

Campus Life

Campus is very beautiful and extracurricular activities involve different celebrations, fest extra making it more fun for students. There's different sports, green initiatives, etc etc fun activities in the campus

Admission

This college offer specialisation in your interested field and hence that draws my attention towards it. Admission process is such that 1. The MCQ test and 2. The interview round. After clearing this both, they'll release 3 list and if you pass both the test you'll be admitted.

Faculty

As it is the master program the marking system goes about 50% passing marks both in Unit and as well as final examination. Faculty is very supportive and learning experience is very good. Per sem 2 exams UT and Final. 1 MCQ test for internals and presentation or assignments for the same. Paper do contain tricky questions and also expected to be solved in that manner.

Placement Experience:

Actually this college has very good infrastructure like medical room and common room for girls. And indoor game auditorium and a gymnastium. And educational stationary shop. And the canteen food is good and affordable and hygiene level is good. The quality of teaching is way more good as I think about this college the management of academic is sometimes is loose to decide the semester dates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for Microbiology, as in the evolving world I feel microbiology is going to be a great field to do your graduation as we can even see in the corona time, the microbiologists played a very important role. I would advise it's a great field and will bring a great scope in the coming years. Basically, we have approx 15 faculty members, every faculty member has their individual expertise to teach a particular paper. Most of our lecturers are PhD while few have done their Masters in Microbiology ...As they all are very experienced they have a great teaching technique and is understandable and effective. With the support of teachers it becomes very easy to pass the term exams, they are extremely supportive.

What i liked about the college that it has a good infrastructure. Good sanitation facilities, drinking water facilities, Air conditioned rooms, vast library. The things i dint like was the instability in the timings of college. And the portion is alwasy completed at the last moment. A place for Research in Economics

Remarks:

The college is very good institute but the faculty is not very willing about the interest of the students regarding placements. The professors are very research oriented which is not a bad thing but it does affect the subject they are teaching. They are very knowledgeable in their own field. The course structure is very good. The campus is fine and there is hostel for all students so accommodation is not problem.

I applied in Kamla mehta college which is in Versova Andheri west mumbai and I applied there Because many of my school friends took addmission in that college also I got seleted in Kamla mehta college than I also got selected in SNDT college so I decided to take addmission in SNDT college as I wanted to take economic subject and I heard very nice reviews of SNDT college so i took addmission here. Also I applied in NM college but I got rejection there due to the percentage criteria but I feel I am lucky I got addmission in SNDT college.
