Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course hoping for more biological theory. But its more of chemical part. But there is also some part of biology that might intrest your learning. Biotechnology is a leading field when we think of future. So if the teachers are more interactive and not pressurizing about the rate of us understanding or grasping quickly and concentrate on how We will understand, it would be great

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly if paid at a time it is 90000 rupees for us. If paid term wise we have to pay extra charges. It is more than 1lakh for students who joined this year. Gitam schorship test will be conducted before admissions. Students with good score will be given some discount

Campus Life

Ive worked in a club and also volunteered few events. Working and attending events, conferences, and having social life is so fun. I used to isolate myself in 1st year but i chose to socialise in 2nd year and that was the best decision to make

Admission

Gitam is very vast campus with people around country and is not very inclusive. So it is always attractive. Campus placements is one of the thing people get excited to join here but in reality to bsc. People they are very less placement opportunities

Faculty

Internals carry maximum weightage. Biotechnology is not a very easy course. Until and unless you are dedicated to flourish in science dept, its not for you. Chemistry is gonna touch in every subject. So if you hate chemistry you will hate biotechnology

Read this before getting into Central Univeristy of Andhra Pradesh

Placement Experience:

There are placement opportunities offered in the University but it is pretty low compared to private Universities. Companies like TCS, jio mart, Ramoji Film City often visit here for placements. As far as I heard the highest placement offered was 6LPA to an economics student. I plan to do MBA after my Retail management course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The quality education along with life values and spiritual discipline that one needs in life is provided. This is not found in quality, elsewhere. The course is designed and planned very well throughout the semester. Each paper is dealt with in-depth. The majors that one chooses in the final year helps students to explore more projects and open-ended experiments The university maintains a 1:40 teacher to student ratio. Each student is individually monitored and guided by professors. The university makes sure to hire teachers only with good teaching experience and with a Ph.D. Their explanation and concept delivery are at par with excellence. The term exams are conducted on time. The midterm exams start around 1 months after the beginning of sem. Along with the theoretical exams, one has to also pass in practicals. There is no grace marking in any case. One cannot expect important questions and related priorities in the paper. The only time to time preparation and a strong grip on concepts help.

biomedical engineering is available in a very few colleges. Affordable college, needs improvement.

Applied to a couple of NLUs did not get the T1 or T2 NLUs, and did not want to go to T3 NLUs for the sake of the name, tried other private colleges but they were super expensive compared to this. I got accepted to all the private colleges that I applied to, and all of the T3 NLUs. The college has its own general admission test GAT, which is simple enough to be taken easily, a seperate personal interview is also conducted, though as far as I am aware, it is not a ground for rejection currently....Read More
