The course is good for Net Ph.D aspirants. But teachers need to be more well-versed in their topics. A teacher would blatantly say that he has never studied this topic, so, he doesn't know. He would ask the students to think more than himself and never completed his syllabus on time.

For B.Sc, I paid Rs.30,000 per year. It was a course of 3 years. For M.Sc, I paid about Rs.40,000 per year. It was a course of 2 years. I am from Unreserved Category. For SC, ST and OBCs, the fees was about 1000 or 2000 less. For such students, e-Kalyam facilities are also available.

College fests were usually grand but they have not been held since Covid. Not all books are currently present in the library but we were told that they would be ordered soon. Most computers in the computer lab were not working.

There are entrance exams for admission. I chose this college because it is closest to my house. I had applied to Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University and for JCECEB exam as well but because they kept on postponing the admission process, so, I went to St. Xavier's College.

For B.Sc, the ratio was 1:80. For M.Sc, it was 1:30 There are 1 mid-semester exam and 1 end-semester exam per semester. The syllabus for B.Sc is helpful for students applying for IIT-JAM and for M.Sc, it is helpful for NET exams.
