THE COURSE CORICULLUM IS VERY UP TO DATE . THE COURSE STRUCTURE IS DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT IS HE;PFUL FOR BOYH PLACEMENT AS WEL AS HIGHER STUDUES OR PHD. BUT OUR COURSE IS MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTING SO MOST PEOPLE PREFERE FOR PLACEMENT .

THE COLLEG OF IIT DHANBAD PROVIDES THE TOO MANY INTERNSHIP OPPUTRTUNITY. BUT TEHRE ARE LESS INTERNSHIP OPPURTUNIY FOR MSC STUDENTS IN COMPARE TO BTECH AND MTECH STUDENTS. ALMOST ALL OF THE INTERSHIPNARE STIPEND BASED.

85000 AROUND AND MCM SCHOLARSHIP AND MANY OTHER SCHOLARSHIP. MANY GIRLS SCHOLARSHIP ARE OFFERED . THE TOTAL 2 YEARS FEES IS AROYUND 175000 . SO I USED AVERAGE FOR THE FEES. THE FEES IS VERY AFFORDABLE IN COMPARE TO COURSE STRUCTURE AND ACCOMODATION THAT ARE PROVIDED.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE IS VERY GOOD0. THERE ARE MANY SOCIAL ACTIVITIES CLUB. INTER IIIT COMPETIOTIONS AND TEHRE ARE TIME TO TIME EVENTS OR FESTS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT OF STUDENTS. WE HAVE MANYN SOCIAL CLUB LIKE KARMAJYOTI AND FAST FORWARD INDIA.

Hostel Facilities

THE HOSTEK FACILITY IS GOOD BUT WE CANT SAY IT IS TOO GOOD. THERE ARE SEPAREATE BOYS AND GIRLS HOSTEL . THERE ARE AROUND 8-9 HOSTELS. ALL THE HOSTEL HAS WARDENS AND SECURITY GUARDS. AND ALL THE NECESSARY FACILITY ARE AVAILABLE IN HOSTEL. THE CAMPUS MAINTAINS CLEANINESS OF HOSTEL VERY WELL.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

I GOT THE ADMISSION INTHIS THIS COLLEGE AFTER QUALIFYING IIT JAM EXAM. I PREFFERED THIS COLLEGE BECAUSE IT IS NEAR TO MY HOMETOWN AND IT'S COURSE STRUCTURE IS MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTING. WHICH IS IS EMERGING BRANCH OR BRANCH OF FUTURE.

THERR ARE AROUND 7000 TO 8000 STUDENTS IN OUR CAMPUS AND THERE WILL WE AROUND 500-600 PROFESSORS. THE PROPFESSORS ARE VERY SYUPPORTUVE . 75 % IS MUST IN OUR COLLEGE. THERE ARE REGULAR CLASSES. THE EACH SUBJECT EXAM IS OF 100 MARKS .ONE SEMESTER CONTAINS TWO EXAM ONE CALLED MID SEM AND ANOTHER CALLED END SEM. THETRE UIUIS RELATIVE GRADING IN OUR COLLEGE

Night Life

THE NIGHTLIFE AROUND IIT DHANBAD IS RELATIVELY LOW KEY COMPARED TO LARGER METROLPOLITAN AREA BUT IT HAS IT'S OWN CHARM AND APPEAL. THE CAMPUS ITSELF OFFERS VARIOUS ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS THAT KEEP STUDENTS ENGAGED.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is nothing specific about choosing it , it's just my interest on that particular subject for which I am there .we get proper notes and tips for our exams and also some life lesson . There is only thing which I find irritating and that's the gap between the exams like seriously how can expect from us to prepare 4 subject in just 2 to 3 months

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
