Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is amazing, it is well designed and equivalent to Btech(tech branch). It also covers the industry needs. I don't know the difficulty level of exams as of now. In first sem, we have programming fundamentals of C, desktop publishing, IT, English Communication, EVS and Maths. Classes are going good as of now.
Internships Opportunities
Don't know about these things also. As I'm a fresher, but as far I know in this new course, internship is involved but I don't know where we'll find them. I would say try to search internship by yourself don't depend on college.
Placement Experience
As this University is new so there's no placement records. But you can land on a decent package after doing this course, you need to do hardwork along with the course and this is a must thing to land on a decent package. I would say Don't depend on college for placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
This course is a upgraded version of BCA under NEP 2020. DSEU has increased the fee by the rate 2x this year earlier it was around 19k. but now it's 42500 for general students. 35k is the tution fees and the additional includes:admission fees, library fees, id card fees, development fees, caution fees, lab fees etc. College don't provide scholarship but you can apply through NSP site or any private scholarship.
Campus Life
I have spent only 5 days till now. So I don't know much about the social aspects, club involvement, but yeah there's are many technical and non technical clubs which you can join. Infrastructure is okiesh. Don't expect much things, as expectations hurt!
Admission
I didn't applied for any other college, as this was never a option for me, as I wanted to pursue btech but unfortunately I landed here. Also, I didn't give IPU CET so, this was the only option I had for BS computer applications.
Faculty
The faculty is great. They're very supportive and always ready to help. BS computer applications is a four year course with multiple exit under NEP 2020. If you exit after 1st year, you'll get a certificate, after 2nd - diploma, after 3rd year - BCA degree and after 4rth year - BS computer applications. The course structure is amazing as it is equivalent to Btech. Exam will happen after every 6 months as end sem. After every sem we'll get 20 credits, so total credits for 4 year is 160.
