Remarks

The college management was very strict on discipline and follow the high standards. And being able to get so many companies for placement on a bad year is a big achievement.

I was in the computer science department and the faculty of this department was good. The curriculum was tough and tested students practical approach.

The placement was good at our college. The highest package is 4.5 lakhs for the students of this college. The companies visited was Pinclick, Seventh Sense, Technologies Global Pvt Ltd, Westline Shipping Services etc.

College Events

The celebration for any batch starts with a welcome party from the seniors to the juniors, national festivals, cultural fests and the annual fest.

Campus Life

The campus life is awesome and there was lots of trees, amazing sports facilities, great computer infrastructure. A lot of students coming from the affluent and political background.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors in every department were more supportive than ever. Right from studies to sports, they would be there. The seniors would share books, notes etc.

From 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Infosys ,hp, 24/7 ai come for placements. Average package is around 4lpa . Around 50% of students gets placed. My plan is to get placed in college or get into reputed companies outside

My journey at RNSIT

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good in RNS Institute of Technology. There is dedicated department for placements.The training for placements begins in the 3rd semester itself. The training is also very good. The companies that visit our college are very good. Some of the companies that had visited my college are Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, LTIMindtree, HashdeIn and many other companies. The highest package was 52 lacs from adobe and average package was 6-7 lacs. The number offers made by major recruiters are 50+. The percentage of students getting placed are 90%+. There were 1000+ offers made by many companies. I'm planning to get job after my graduation.

6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. A CGPA of 7.5 and above makes you eligible for most of the companies. The placement record of my college has been great this year. 1200+ offers were made with an average package of 9 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students who applied for placements are placed now. The average placement of my branch (CSE AI ML) was 15 lakhs. The highest placement was 55 lakhs by Microsoft but it was off campus. My plans after getting a degree is to pursure MBA

Facts about JIT Davangere
