Likes

the faculty members and their own experience in their own field
the infrastructure is really nice and provides all the facilities for the student
many events and programs for the character development of children

Dislikes

the infrastructure is sort of smaller considering the batch in our course
only two cafeteria's are present in your university
either the library should be expanded or one more library should be made

on campus placements are really nice and few students which are doing their masters or Phd have given the opportunity to teach 1st year students what they are studying in there ph.d or masters course..

as compared to other universities in Uttarakhand or all over India graphic Era hill University provides multiple scholarships and discounts on various aspects so the fee structure can be considered lower than other universities considering other facts like the faculty and infrastructure

campus life is really nice many events happen here and many celebrities and alumini of the university comes for their speech and lectures and also the president or the chairman sir himself teachers 1st year all like other years students personally in the classes

Admission

the fee structure for b.tech course in computer science engineering is comparatively affordable considering other good universities in Uttarakhand and outside Uttarakhand which provides student to pursue their dream

Faculty

two exams are held in one semester of 6 months which is midterm and final term exam and sometimes the question paper is from inside and sometime from outside and the difficulty level is stop notch....

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

The review from heart

After 12 I applied for UIT college but that was not as good as Graphic Era Hill University,as the number of placement are high in Graphic Era and the fees is also affordable comparing with UIT bad the infrastructure is also better then that of UIT's.I cleared the percentage criteria of UIT also but by comparing both the colleges in these parameters I choose Graphic Era Hill University The admission procedure in graphic Era is by filling and getting qualified in CUET exam,only the selected students get the seat and also students can take admission on the basis of their class 12 percentage.The cutoff percentage to get admission in B.Tech computer science in Graphic Era Hill University is 80 percent below that the seat for B.Tech in computer science is not allowed....Read More

I didn't apply for any other college. I chose this one because it was close to my house and is a really good college. It accepts many exams for admission.
