Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

There are high class equipments for the students who want to make their career in journalism like cameras tripods macs and a proper studio. In the course of journalism there is more practical rather than theory. The teachers sometimes become biased.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The first semester fees was 32250 as I got admission on a scholarship basis but normally the semester fees is 45000 for the first 4 semester then 47500 for the next two semester the total course fee touches 375000

Campus Life

3

There are so many events that keep on being held by ASCO only as it's the most active department according to me in amity university one of the most popular events is the AFF that is amity film festival which has already being recognised by different countries. The library is at second floor.you'll study in a high class environment.there is no sports quota in amity because there is no campus.there are many clubs in my dept Amicare rangshala and many more

Admission

I had applied only for amity university before that I thought of giving curt exams but I fell ill at that time only so I never gave that exams and it was already too late to think about where to get admission so I dorectly went to amity university but if you want other options girls can go to Patna women's college for J&MC if I talk about the selection process it's just an interview you give to get selected as a student of amity .

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are very much accessible you can reach them easily whenever you need them.Badshah sir is one of the best faculty over there for me because he is there every time for the students I consider him as the most accessible faculty in ASCO department there were no faculties that I hated in my department and I have never interacted with other departments faculties so I don't know about them yeah but the placement department non teaching staff are very much polite and they provide you good placement service there are 2 exams every Semester one of 20 or 15 marks that is called the midsem exams and the other one is the semester exam which is of the rest of the marks.

The only thing that made me choose this course is the core element of journalism is to serve people. And all I love is to help people n explore more and more thing.Journalism makes you to read ,write n know about all aspects of the world .The only thing in which our university needs to work is on practical field .The frequency n timings of exams is all very good .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just have interest in this field like in journalism and mass communication . And the course curriculum covered each and every thing from very basics to advanced. Teaching methodology is also good but ni consistency was there in taking classes. They donot take classes regularly. And Sometimes they took 3 hours per day(each subject )just to complete the syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of my feild interest and i think this college has benefited my curriculum activities and hobby. C.A prepare me very well for the real world experience and the teaching faculty provide us the best which help us to stay motivated and learn more. One thing they can improve is we don't get enough pratical as a mass communication student so it will be better if we get extra pratical classes which will make us more confident.

I have always wanted to pursue journalism so I chose this course. Faculty members are very good and helpful and the student ratio is also pretty decent. All the teachers are Ph.D. qualified. Exams are conducted on time. Papers are neither too hard nor too easy.

Placement Experience:

Final-year students are eligible for the placement. Companies like HDFC, Vivo, etc. visit the campus and offer packages up to 16 lakh. The highest package offered was 16 lakh and the average package offered is 8 lakhs. Around 70% of students get placement from the campus. This college does not provide master's degree courses therefore I would be applying to some other college outside the city for my master's degree in the same course.
